I have been collecting so that i have one excellent example of each type of knife.
However for actual use i have found that I like 1 big bowie/camp knife and a small companion blade for the outdoors ,a thin neck knife for a EDC and concealed back up weapon and a folder for EDC.
Here is my new awesome bowie/camp knife I just got.
It is amazing for bushcrafting and i have used lots of other similar sized Busse blades but this one is much better.
I also like to have 2 nice kitchen knives. 1 pearing and one french chefs.
Then a 3 to 6 inch fixed blade hunting bushcraft belt knife like the Skookum or SS4.
So the total is
1 bowie
1 neck knife (Spyderco Mule with OST sheath)
1 folder EDC (Spyderco Caly3 ZDP)
2 kitchen knives pearing and chef's
1 fixed blade sheath knife (Skookum)
With those you can do pretty much anything you need.
