How Many Knives In Your "EDC" Rotation

ZT0452cf most of the time.
ZT0200 sometimes
ZT0350OR just for show.
Hope to keep it down to 3 or 4.
 
Only the two that I carry. I am poor college student and rather picky when it comes to knives, does no one make a handle comfortable in a chest lever grip, so I tend to stick to the ones I choose for a long while.

Two. Although my Spyderco Delica 4 is starting to pull more carry time than my ZT 566.
 
Not a rotation, but these are the options I have when I get up every morning and decide to put a knife in my pocket. The other ones I have are all what I would define as "specialty folders" and they're not included in my EDC group.

Of this group, the most carried by FAR is the small seb 21 cf inlay on the far right.

roughly 60. Im serious. I have a couple hundred knives of all kinds. I dont buy a knife to not use it. Ill rotate through a group of roughly 60 over a year then choose a different 60

When in the office - Kershaw OD-2

When not in the office - Delica ZDP-189 PE or SE


Used to be as high as 7 until I finally narrowed it down to what I really 'needed'. But occasionally I'll take something different just to be ... different.
 
What I used/carried today

Ka Bar D2 Extreme Fighter
Yojimbo 2
mini Griptilian with custom linen micarta
SOG Vulcan
 
Always have tried to keep the "collection" small, say no more than 6-8 knives, but found I was not rotating through them all. So, I sold most of them and now I'm focusing on really getting just 2-3 that I really like and will just rotate those.

This past week I have gone back and forth between a 3" Hinderer wharncliffe and the ZT562CF. Plan is to add a small sebenza to the mix and call it a day!
 


Missing only my Mercator which is with a friend... note three Talon II's across two manufacturers - slight coincidence there. And its fair to say that I only use the Kizlyar on Sundays. Church, you see. :-)
 
Not counting special purpose knives, maybe seven or eight. You will normally find one of the following on my person:

Benchmade Griptillian

CRKT M16-02

CRKT Prowler

Kershaw Echelon

Kershaw Zing, US model

Leatherman Wave

Victorinox Cadet

Wenger Standard Issue

There are others but, these are the most common for my carry rotation. The Zing gets more pocket time than anything else, followed by the Prowler.

FWIW, my work bag includes a Victorinox Mechanic and a Gerber EAB.
