How many knives ?

Not counting the knives I still have from when I was a kid (which I keep for sentimental reasons and value), I currently have a small collection:

CRK Large Insingo
CRK 25
Benchmade Rift
Benchmade Osborne 940
Benchmade Custom Mini Grip
William Henry B10 Lancet (2) - one with Damascus and one without
William Henry Carbon Fiber EDC10
William Henry B30 Gentac with Damascus
Spyderco Manix 2

500-something, not counting a few users laying around. There's an exact number but I don't have the records handy at the moment. It's not all that many when you consider I've been collecting and accumulating for almost 40 years.

I'd have more, but there's been a knife restriction in place since January due to belt-tightening. :(

Wow that´s impressive the amount of knives some of you got.
I can now tell my wife, that my 19 knives is nothing :-) Thanks

Who woulda ever thunk it.

I was a one-knife man for so many years. Got my first knife when I was 8, went with only one at a time until age 52.

But we never had the variety there is now. Cannot believe I added 70-ish in two years!

But I gave up going out and drinking, this is safer. Now that I've slowed collecting, maybe I'll have money again!

Users:
Manix 2 CTS-XHP
PM2 (in the process of sharpening some chips out)
Caly 3 CF/ZDP-189
Dragonfly ZDP-189
Gayle Bradley
Schempp Rock
SOG Seal Pup

ESEE Izula
LionSteel Opera (carrying today as I'm wearing a suit)
DPx HEAT
BM 585 mini Barrage
BM 530
ZT0801
Brous Bionic

Retired/or not using
SOG mini X-Ray Vision--Has been sharpened so many times its no longer a tanto, the bead blast finish is almost completely worn of, pocket clip broken and the new ones use a different screw size.
SOG Flash 1--Don't like this knife, sits in a drawer. Will probably give it to someone I hate.
CS Recon 1--Somehow the pivot screw managed to fall out and get lost. So it sits until I get around to getting a new one.
Brian Tighe Mini Tighe Rod--Curvature of the handle makes it difficult to get a good grip with my big hands. Currently for sale.
CRKT M16-12Z--Beat to hell, the blade has more chips than a vending machine. Should really just throw it out.

Got a TSF Beast coming my way soon, maybe a Spyderco Dice or Domino.

40ish - all users but three (though there are some I'll probably sell soon because I don't anticipate using them much). Not counting axes or kitchen. I really need to update the spreadsheat.

I have 8 knives as of this moment, though I do plan on grabbing more, I do wish I had never sold all my others.

1. Spyderco Paramilitary 1 D2 sprint, I've used the hell out this thing and I love it.

2. Spyderco Southard, Very well made knife with an awesome steel, I just wish mine flipped easier.

3. Spyderco Military, Awesome folder for edc or camp tasks, too bad a I sold my orange sprint.

4. Zero Tolerance 560bw, I just got it so I can't say much but its super fast and easy to flip and with cargo shorts it doesn't feel as heavy as it actually is.

5. Becker BK9, Very good blade for the money, anyone thinking about go ahead and pick one up.

6. Sykco 511, Super comfortable handle, decent cutter, can't wait to convex this thing.

7. BlackJack AWAC Proto, Very well balanced fighter, very comfortable handle and it cuts food great.

8. Tramontina Bolo, By far my best purchase, if you even remotely think you need one don't hesitate.

Either a little over or a little under 1,000. From the smallest folder up to my machete. That's not counting my swords either....

Been collecting for close to 40 years.

The number of knives in my possession constantly fluctuates, but it's always a lot! Currently, I probably have in the neighborhood of 80-90 pieces (counting both fixed and folders; too many to list). It's been as high as 200+, but I have sold many over the past 5-6 years. Of course, I have also purchased many in that same time period, which is why the actual number never remains the same for long (e.g., 2 more incoming tomorrow!!)...

Probably well over 20, and still going. There is no such thing as, "too many knives". When I leave the house, I often spend more time deciding what blades to carry than I do picking out my clothes.

While i'm not a collector, i am a user, I probably have 200 or so, if i actually assembled them in one area and counted them up.

Probably six or eight just in my truck.

a whole bunch randomly placed in my shop, at my folks house there are some, at my camp...knives all ova the place.

I have a lot if you asked my knife, and not many at all compared to others here, haha.

9 good brand folders, plus some 'junk'.

Seeing as you typed "knife" instead of (I presume) "wife," I think you're holding out on us. How many knives do you really have? ;)
