How many knives ?

I've been hording for about 15 years now, and If I recall correctly, the highest amount I've ever had at once was either 378, or 376...can't recall exactly. I'd say I've got around 350 now. It'd take me a while to locate and count all of them between my home and vehicles, but that's probably about right.

I don't really sell knives. Once I get them, they're mine. I do give them away to friends though. Once a friend of mine who was about to leave for Marine Scout Sniper Training was talking about how he really liked the SOG SEAL Pup he held at the last NRA trade show when talking to Gunny R. Lee Ermey. So, I got my old SEAL Pup, and gave it to him.

The knives I own that get used are a very selective group.

All get plenty of attention.
 
I don't know how many I have but looking at group pictures and counting I'm guessing that I have maybe 110. This includes my older knives, my EDC knives, my collection of custom knives, and various junk knives I've accumulated.

Counting machetes and similar blades, between 250-300. No idea on the breakdown between fixed and folders, all my folders get carried occasionally, my fixed blades are mostly just collected, except for a couple of machetes I use out in the yard.
