How many knives?

I think it's less than a thousand, but I couldn't swear to it. Certainly over five hundred. Over a hundred Spydercos.

Who counts?
Everyone who wants a record of their collection. Your ancestors will certainly appreciate knowing where and when you acquired each piece, and you may have to file an insurance claim some day.

At one time over 70 but some azz hat decided to break in and steal them. The collection now has been growing slowly as I am buying nicer knives now, I think I am a little over 30 and some customs on the way. :D

Last count I got to 275, but I couldn't get into my pistol safe to count whats in there. Plus I have added some since then so I would say I'm closing in on 300.

One really expensive reminder of "Caveat Emptor". One dream knife, One fine chefs knife, One fine quality give away knife, two never get rid of knives, three go to ( EDC ) knives, Four bug out knives, several "Oh, I remember when I got that!" knives, and one "What was I thinking!?" Knife.

so, 15 to 20.

Way more than 50. To many. I'll still buy more, but I am trying hard to cut back.

I'm guessing maybe 50. Don't consider myself a collector, but more of a user. Every knife I buy I actually think I am going to use. Har har.

I used to have over 300, but I streamlined my collection. I probably have between 150 and 200 now. The most I have by one maker is Bark River (about 30), plus several original Blackjacks and Stewart-era Marble's.
