How many multiples do you own of the same knife?

New to collecting and fell in love with the Arno Bernard iMamba with mammoth molar inlays. I love this knife so much I'm considering buying another one already with different inlays. I'm a sucker for inlays and they have so many nice ones it's hard to pick just one. And I don't mean the same knifemaker, I mean the same exact knife but in different scales and inlays.

ESEE Izula 2 I have a orange one and a black one.
ESEE 3 green, stainless, orange and black.
ESEE 4 stainless, black

I got 3 xm18 3.5s and 3 ultratechs. Each one is different with a different finish and blade shape.

Multiples of several Spydercos:
Manix 2 (4V, Rex45, S90V, S110V, & Maxamet), Military (CPM-M4 & S90V), PPT (S90V & S30V), Sage (s30V & Maxamet), Dragonfly2 (ZDP189 & H1), primarily because of the bladesteel. If it's 4V or better, I feel compelled to get it, and only Spyderco can feed this neurosis of mine 😆. Eventually, I just end up keeping the supersteels.

Different handle options just don't do it for me (ZT, Hinderer, etc). It all boils down to the bladesteel.

2 chefs (1 modded)
2 kaparas
2 k390 endelas
soon to have 2 Manix when I snag one of BBB collabs
soon to have 2 DM Prevails, 1 wharnie, 1 leaf

I have a pair of delicas and a bunch of moras but to many knives to try to buy to many of the same. Only one Arno Bernard Sr. fixed blade. I can't fault a guy for buying a few of those if you can swing it. They are awesome

Right at the moment....

I have 27 of the same...

All of them --dull... ;)

JK, mostly, I do have a couple of Buck 110s and three Mora cheapies with different colored handles.

I have three iMambas - maple burl, mammoth molar, and kudu.

Don't even get me started on Sebenzas...

I love inlays - they are all so unique and beautiful, that its basically like collecting art.

The only time I chased "the collection" was the CRKT Ripple.

I would still like to add one with the gray frame and wharncliffe-y blade, but they are expensive (to me) on the secondary!

I've been collecting Electrician-pattern knives from various places, which I realize is parallel to the OP's request, but it's the only other time I've looked to pick up different flavors of the same knife.

Wow. Well, I don't have multiples of any knife.

Wish I knew "then" what I know now. Wish I had the resources too . . .

Wish I'd taken out a loan and bought multiples of every CChris Reeve one piece (hollow handle) when they were only several hundred dollars each.

Wish I'd bought multiples of the Spyderco wrench-knife-pliers multitool, the SpyderWrench I think it was called.

Wish I'd bought multiples of the Camillus Cuda Maxx folding dagger. I bought one at $125, to give as a gift to an active duty Marine about to deploy to Iraq in 2004.
