With just over 200 posts since 98 I dont burn up these forums by any means, but I would like to see how many knife makers, and freaks have been here since the begining? This forum has been great for me, and I appreciate all I have learned here. Lets hear from the old timers, and even the not so old timers.
What were your favorite posts, or least favorite?? or just pipe in and say you were here when it began...

Yo! Fellow freakazoid here! I think I joined a few days after it started up...been awhile.:p
I've managed to avoid the flame wars, post a few tips, opinions, and even traded a knife or two. I'm also not very prolific in postings.
Is this a great place or what!?
 
Yup...Oct. '98, before that I was a very early member of knifeforums.com, and before that an early member of recdotknives.com, and before that i was one of the first who posted on Usenet's rec.knives...Wow...too much computer time :)

Been registered since mid oct. 98, was here when we saw the big migration from Knifeforums, recdotknives.com before that. Just a lowly lurker :)

I would also like to congratulate the plankholders. Don't seem to see many of the old timers around anymore.
 
I was in the chat room with Spark and a few others while Spark was finishing up installing the software a such. I was among the first group to sign up. Good thing to since that was about the time I had gotten myself banned at KF under its old ownership :)
 
I signed up about three weeks in, and also remember the old rec.knives and the original KF.C. Way too many posts in less than three years, but it has been fun at times.

I miss Jim Mattis the most, and the Madpoet and the BaldOne :( :( :(

The rest might one day be back, look at Richard! I know Kodiak is still around, the Senator is lurking (Hi, Kelly!), and I even saw a post from Snickersnee a few weeks ago. Whatever happened to Courderoy? CopFish, where are you lately?

At least Gary Graley is still posting polls and chipping in. He has even more posts than me!
 
I'm still here, like Trace said, I don't have as many posts as others but sometimes I prefer to be seen and not heard...My favorite post has to be when we all list what knives we have and my most hated were the recent arguments in the G,B and U over the for sale forums.

Been here since the first day. Knife Forums before that, Rec Dot Knives before that. I try to sit out all the bull manure and sift through the good stuff.
 
I think mine is Oct 98, though if not, I was here soon after.

I lurk mostly, post a little, just enough to stay in trouble.
 
As I recall there were several hundred of us who joined in the first week or so....

I been here since the beginning. Not that many posts for a moderator, huh? I think I might have the record for the most replies to a thread. It was sometime last year, best I remember. And yes, it was a BS thread:)
