How many of you actually use the clip?

I carry an old Military, bought in the 90's, two screw clip design. Obviously I have not lost it yet, and I carry it every day, all day.

Also carry a Leatherman Charge via a clip. I've had it since the Charge first came out, titanium handle and removable clip. Have not lost it yet either.

Yes, once in a while, I find one or the other sticking up a bit higher tha nit should be, because of some leg movement or the other. But they have not become totally unclipped.

Oh btw: When I get a new knife or tool with a clip, I remove the clip and bend it to get a really tight fit. The tighter the better.

I have a love hate relationship with clips. I'm not crazy about how they feel in the hand but they are very convenient. Spyderco clips are longer than others so the hit my hand in a much more comfortable spot than say a Benchmade. I have an older Delica that you almost can't feel that there is a clip.

Tried carrying a knife with no clip last week and it drove me nuts. Wish it didn't, but I can't carry without one.

Of course I use the clip, each and every time. The convenience of not having a dead weight at the bottom of my pocket is too much to mention.

Cheers,
Rob

I try to use the clip every time. I extremely dislike when the knife fall to a horizontal position at the bottom of the pocket. It drives me crazy!! To each their own though.
