  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How many of you are also Gun guys and gals ?

Can't remember what came first, knives or guns. I guess all weapons attract me. I live in Holland so I'm fairly limited as to the number and type I can lay my hands on but within those limits (and certainly in Holland) I am a qualified gun nut, and have been for over 30 years. Used to compete in the European equivalent of IPSC, used to reload, did vacation jobs at a skeet- and trap range, worked at what was Amsterdam's best gun store at the time. Love guns and everything about them. Currently own a Mini-14, a Glock 20, a Glock 17C, S&W model 27 and I recently sold a K-98 because I've got my sights set on (:D) an Austrian-made FAL: we can only own 5 guns.

I am also a shooter. As well as a cop and a soldier. My personal collections is small but is growing... I have my duty firearm which is a Sig P229 .40, my home defense revolver which is a 3" Ruger GP100 .357, and my newest addition is a Marlin XT-22 tube fed 17rnd.

I love hunting/shooting. I hunt mostly deer and coyotes and would love to be able to go elk hunting. I reload my own ammo for 25-06, 30-06, 300 mag, 38/357, 9mm, and 45. I'll be adding a set of dies for 223 someday and I just buy ammo for my 40 s&w. I built my own ar15 and have done some simple customizing on my other rifles. I haven't really been able to get any target shooting in this year, but normally I would be hitting the range at least once or twice a week to get some practice in and to test some new loads out. Its just been a crappy and busy summer and hopefully next year I can make more time to get out and do what I love.

Riffles and guns have been part of my life since I can remember. I hunted rabbits and quail with my .22 riffle when I was 9. I know work with gun and rifles as part of my work tools. Its great to get paid to do what you love.

Always been a gun nut, Started looking for a new hunting knife and found this forum, and have been knife broke ever since.

Love me some guns and I'm officially out of safe space, next long gun I buy means I need new safe...can't hide that purchase from the wife:D I carry a S&W 442 almost everyday of my life in a front pocket holster, that gun is like my best friend. When wardrobe allows the 442 stays home and I rotate between a Beretta PX4 Storm .40 or PX4 sub compact 9mm. I did just acquired a Walther PPK that will start getting some serious carry time after we get some range time together. My favorite pistol to shoot, my Springfield 1911. My favorite rifle to shoot, my AK-47. My favorite rifle to shoot which is my fathers (which will one day be mine but hopefully many years down the road) Springfield M1A1...BEAST!

 Yes i like guns. Yes i have guns. I get tired of everytime i go to the range, people stare at one of them, then they look around, then they come over & whisper "is that thing even legal". I tell them yes, it is 100% legal. I tell them it is VERY loud & that i wear 2 sets of hearing protection & i recommend that they do too. After the first shot, any women & children leave. After the 3rd shot, EVERYONE leaves. Then people complain about a 100% legal gun that they say is too loud & too powerfull. I call them gun pansies. I do not post pics of my guns, but you can look at one on the Springfield Armory site. It's called the SOCOM 2 Model # AA9629, w/fore end grip, bi-pod, scope. It is rather heavy, but has the capability to shoot through things & still dispatch the bad guys, should the need ever arise. One can never be too prepared in these trying times ! :D Everyone loves to hate it, yet they would all love to have one of thier own. :D

Twin, I just wish that I could get the Socom with a more tactical Stock more in line with say an AR style stock and grips.

I grew up with bb guns, but I bought my first real gun two weeks ago. I bought a Glock 19 and got to shoot it for the first time Saturday. I really like it, and I would like to add a rifle in the future and possibly another pistol or two.

Been working on getting proper pics up kinda hard with school taking up so much my time I usually hunt pigs and turkey haven't been to the ranch in a longgg time :( unfortunately my only to guns aren't that great but they were free! Remington 710 and a rossi 20ga/.22 combo single shot been waiting to turn 21 so I can get that gp100 iv been drooling over!
