How many of you are committed with Busse?

95% of knife collection are made in Wauseon, Ahia. The remaining 5% are produced right here in Oregon.

And as soon as Jerry makes a folder, I'll be 100% committed... :)

I bought my first piece of INFI from Progunner -- and seem to have 'absorbed' his attitude along with it!

OK...I'll admit I've got a few folders from other folks (BM, Spyderco). Until Jerry makes one.

Most of my knives are Busse's, I just really like the simple yet cool designs. I have bought a few other custom knives in the last few years, but basically just stuff that Busse doesn't make.

For example a Bill Buxton EDC. It's a forged carbon steel hunter with an impeccable finish, a nice hamon, and it's just really nice. I ordered it to my liking, got it within 60 days, and only cost $225.

The Buxton EDC doesn't have the re-sale value of a Busse, but it sure is nice, and I'm certain it's plenty tough for anything I'll ever do with it.

Started off with Rats, got hooked. Now I have my choice Busse knives and a bunch of misc other stuff that seem to serve some role. The love for the Busse family is a sickness though. Had to break myself from the collector bug, now all I have is what I will use. Hell Razor, Heavy Duty, Strider AR, HI Pen Khukri, BM Griptilian LE, Mcusta Damascus folder, and about 10 custom fixed blades. As soon as the FBM gets here I think I will be done. Probably not................. IT'S A SICKNESS :D

The Buxton EDC is looking good to me also. Beautiful work and I have a spot for 52100. You can do things with that steel.

Besides a KaBar used as a loaner, my only non Wauseon blade is a Sebbie, my folding EDC. It rides opposite of a SHBA that people never get to see and is also the only folder I own.

I do have 2 customs, both Bowies, and both makers now deceased. Those I consider seperate from everything else.

There are other knife companies? I'm looking forward to a Busse line multitool. I own 1 Busse, 2 Swamp Rats, and 1 Scrap Yard. I will be adding to the Busse line and th SR line soon...

You're going to have to explain that.

It sounds to me like it's concealed, but that's just what I read between the lines. I see sebbies are offered in LH so it would be easy to clip a sebbie on the off side and tuck a badger under a shirt.
Just my take on the comment. I too would like the whole story.
