how many of you guys carry your sebenza in a sheath

Hi guys and girls I was just wondering how many of you carry your sebenzas in a leather sheath. I am going to get one today because the clip in time destroys my pants. I will post pics later of my sheath, its the old style horizontal crk sheath. I like them better because it only has on button, and is only made for the large. posting pics of your sheath are always welcomed.

It depends on which CRK I am carrying. First off all I have removed the clips from all of the small I carry. My small annual and Lisa's Picks/ computer graphics are carried in the CRK pouches. My small micarta is not. It's my beater even though I don't abuse it. I just don't care if it gets scratched. I love the character it has now.
My larges rarely get carried in pouches unless they have wood inlayed or Lisa's Pickes/graphics

I carry my plain models without a sheath and my decorated knives with. I too like the way the plain Sebenzas look when beat up a bit.

I carry in a sheath daily with all of my Sebs. I will try and get some pics up if the weather cooperates here today.

My EDC is housed in a Chris Reeve slip pouch.

I like the clip. It takes the weight of the knife out of your pocket and it is quick to use.

I prefer wearing it clipped on the inside of my pocket, but mostly my workpants aren't particularly suited for this:-(
In that case I store it in the CR leather pouch.... It's the first pouch I like to put an Edc in, because it is made of a fine kind'o leather!!

I had this sheath custom made a while back.

It turned out nice but I ended up going back to carrying my Sebenza clipped inside my pocket.

I carry my Umnumzaan, clip and all, in a black CRK sheath. Not to protect it from being scratched, but because I also find that clip knives tear up my pockets. I need to get a slightly thinner and narrower belt so I can wear it horizontally. My current belt thickness means I can only wear it vertically for now.

well guys I got my sheath today and it is beautiful. its the older style and my sebenza fits with the clip easy. I had a newer version to fit a small and a large, but you have to put a titanium insert. I dont like to take my clip off and on so this works perfect. here are pictures and in case you guys wonder about my lanyard its a turks head instead of the coil lanyard. let me know what you guys think.

i like how the older leather sheaths have the full belt opening. belts come in all sizes, so you're kind of SOL if you're belt is a bit too wide for the new ones

can any of you guys tell me if this sheath can be worn horizontal or vertical, I found that my belt can be slid between the notches on the sheath.

Pmek, did you treat the pouch with water or anything to make it form to the sebenza, or is that just years of carrying it in your pocket? Mine shows small signs of forming around the sebenza, but nothing compared to yours....

the sheath came like that, its a older hard to find style, and in my opinion better quality

No treatment. I been using that sheath since March/April. They will conform pretty quick from what I understand. Since I am OCD about certain things, I always put it back in the same facing direction.
