How many of you knife guys own firearms?

Guns and knives. Goes together like peanut butter and jelly, country and western, Lewis and Clark, ... etc.
Got more guns than I do knives.

OK, I'll share!

There is NO smaller lighter 18 round pistol out there.

I bought mine in 1/89 when they were first available in Maryland and still it's the only gun I would bet my life on.

I can put 3 shots closer together with the Glock 19 in the same time that I can put 2 shots together with my 1911s.

I have only 5 guns right now. I really only got interested in guns about 2 years ago.

Kimber Stainless TLE II
Glock 17

Remington 597
Yugo SKS
Bushmaster M4

I alternate the pistols as my EDC concealed weapon. Most of the time, I carry my Glock.

I'll probably pick up another Glock or a Remington 870 at the next gun show.

I've been into knives\swords pretty much my entire life. My interest in firearms came somewhere when I was 18 or 20. I went through ALOT of different pistols\rifles, etc trying to find exactly what I liked. These days I've settled on a Sig P220\Sig P226\Beretta M9\Glock 17\Glock 26. I figure I have all my grounds covered there. My rifle is a Bushmaster M4 style AR15, and my shotgun is a Mossberg 590A1. Overall I'm happy with them and the only thing I might consider adding sometime is something in .308. I tend to think that a good sidearm and a good knife go directly hand-in-hand.

I have a number of long guns, predominantly shotguns (current favorite is my Benelli Super Black Eagle), however my overall favorite would most likely be my tricked out Remington 700 PSS in .300 Ultra. Lots of boom, and good for when stuff is WAAAYYYY out there.

Yep. I've owned at least one gun (and usually several) every day of my life since my mid-teens. I also have a few slingshots and have owned bows but don't right now. I also have two nice sets of tungsten darts. I've always enjoyed target sports.

All of mine have been given to me, simply because I don't have the green.

Savage Arms 29A, .22 pump. Winchester 1300 12-gauge, pump, Ruger MkII Gov't, .22. :)

I can proudly say I've got a nice collection of guns.

Shhhhh but don't tell my wife. She's only seen about half of them. :footinmou

i dont own any firearms, but my excuse is that i am erm, underage, and I live in england. I have a couple of BB guns. ;-) Will be getting air rifles at some point, about as far as I can go in the UK.

The Glock 19 is one of my favorite guns. I have owned 3 or 4 of them in 2 different generations. However, if weight is not much of an issue, and you can stand a few more ounces and something that's actually slimmer, I would prefer something like this:

This is an STI frame with an original Colt 9mm Commander slide. It's hard chromed, weighs about 34 ounces, and holds 19+1 rounds. It's my IDPA gun. With the weight from the thick barrel(9mm hole VS 45), slide and frame(which was left at full size instead of commander length for the extra weight out front), tungsten bushing, plug, and the tungsten guide rod, it has zero recoil even with hot 9mm loads. So you can imagine you can fire very quickly with it. But it cost a tad more than a G-19....in fact the frame alone cost more. :( But it qualifies as an enhanced class gun VS open, and I often let other 1911 users shoot it. They are always amazed at the accuracy and the lack of recoil. I used it for my last concealed carry test and I made one big ragged hole :)

Too young right now but when i become of age my first is going to be a Sig Saurer or some sort of large barreled revolver. As u can see i dont really know **** about guns right now but id like too! :footinmou

I got my great-uncle's Winchester Model 12 in 16 guage. It shoots really nice even though it is very old, and no, it is not one of the valuable, collectible models. I had a 9mm Browning Hi-Power Practical that I sold, a big mistake! One of these days I'll replace it with one in 40 caliber.

Im only 19 and ive had a Glock 17, but traded that for a SIG P226. SIG makes one of the best pistols in the world, you will not be dissapointed with a SIG if you choose to get one. The next pistol on my list for my CCW is the SIG P226R. Isnt it a great looking pistol!

I own a few nice firearms, although not nearly as many as I have knives.

My favorites are:

H&K P7 M8 (my EDC)
Taurus Raging Bull: .44 Magnum with 3-1/2" barrel (customized)
Taurus Raging Bull: .44 Magnum with 6-1/2" barrel and Burris 2-7x scope
Taurus Tracker: .357 Magnum with 4" barrel
Remington 870 HD: 12 gauge, extended magazine, Surefire foregrip light, red-dot sight

I don't like external safeties on a defense pistol. :barf:

In competition, I once forgot to drop the safety on my first shot with my 1911 (cocked and locked). :o

I would hate to do that in a high stress situation.

I do like shooting my 1911s for bullseye and bowling pins. :)
