  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How many of you left the lanyard on?

I keep mine on, it does not get in the way and makes the knife look more...

Utility and not weapon.

I usually leave mine on, unless:
a. It is going in a Gary Graley horizontal sheath.
b. I'm going to clip carry in an area that might have a higher incidence of pick pockets, and/or smartasses.

I like the lanyard for a several reasons. The biggest reason I like the lanyard is because it becomes a good indexing point for when the knife is in my pocket. With the clip and lanyard removed my Small Sebenza (and Umfaan in it's pouch) becomes an ambiguous oblong shape. With the lanyard on I know exactly which way the pivot is facing.

I dunno... the lanyard just seems to be a $300 flag screaming... "I'm a super groovy knife, STEAL ME!!!"
