How many of you open and close your knives while watching TV?

For us in the states, football season just started and I find my self in front of the hi-def more these days. I constantly open and close my newer knives, working the action etc... while watching TV. Its kind of relaxing to me and it builds up my muscle memory with new knives. How many other bladeaholics do this??? I must look like a psycho if any one were to look in my window and see me.:eek::D

And while I'm driving, taking a dump, pretending to listen to my wife talking

Guilty as charged. I also flip an open knife around in my hands to build muscle memory so I'll be able to open the knife and close it and what not in a situation that requires my undivided attention.

Are you psychotic ?Have you lost it when all you do is play with or think about your knives?

It's called knifesturbation©. For me it's generally while watching tv.

All the time. It drives my wife crazy. I open and close whatever knife I am carrying like a hundred times a day. I actually had to resist the urge to play with my Kershaw Leek while shopping yesterday.

i just cant stand boredom, so i take my knife out anytime i dont have something to do. just looking at it, and opening and closing it gives you something to do.

I usually avoid televisions like the plague, but I do read a lot. And yes, I do open/close my knives over and over again while I'm reading--I think I just feel like I should always be doing something with my hands.

Yep me too!

Not just in front of the TV though!

In church, on the bus, at the movies, at restaurants and coffee shops, while at stop lights, where ever!

Sometimes I get so into it I drool a bit.

I get that 1000 yard stare going too.

My crotch gets to itching so I scratch that a bit as well.

I might giggle a bit.

Most folks leave me be.

Guilty as charged.

I can't have a knife on the floor at work so I find myself playing with whatever knife I EDCed that day on the ride home and for a good time after. It absoluty drives my girlfriend crazy, she's scared of knives.
