How many peanut knives do you own?

I'm still at 5... 4 Case (Yellow CV, Red G10 SS, single blade Amber bone SS, Stag Damascus) and 1 AG Russell Pinched Peanut.

Two. A Case and a Steel Warrior/Frost. The latter was my first and I tend to carry it more often than the Case for some unknown reason.

NONE !!! I prefer REAL pocketknives. See the posting on the CASE 6375, a real by God pocketknife.

Interesting juxtaposition there. Just so happens, I bought two Case CV 'real' pocketknives on the same day, in the same store. One was a 6375 CV in Amber Bone, and the other was my Chestnut Bone Peanut (also CV). I've been getting very good use & enjoyment out of both. :)

( BTW, this is posted in light humor. I'm not faulting anybody for liking what they like, or not. We'd all be pretty bored if we all had the same preferences. Just pullin' yer chain a little bit. )

Not to usurp this thread but have you guys seen the NorthWoods Peanuts!!!!? D2, stag! OMG they are beautiful!..and spendy...

Two.
One is a wood handle Bear & Son, which was a gift from my lady's mom. The other is a stainless yellow Case that I can't find. Here is the missing Case:

I was just searching for it the other night after seeing a peanut in another thread but still can't find the little sucker.

I picked up this little Buck 379 one day when I stopped in the store where my son works. As soon as I got home my wife claimed it for her own.

it sure is purty. is that a us made or foreign made buck?
either way i like the wood scales alot!

I've got one in Yellow Delrin/CV, and another in Rough Black. Only have a pic of the Yellow. Certainly a "real knife" IMHO.

Thanks for the compliments on the Buck. Yes, Ryan, as Frank noted this one is an import.

To get back on topic, here is the 12OT peanut style knife I have in my pocket this morning.

I am currently carring one as I type this. Very nice, took a little work to get it as sharp as I wanted, but it is very nice. I actually like it better than the Case design. Sorry about the stupid phone camera pictures. Steven

Without checking I think I have 6 Case peanuts.

Yellow Delrin
Brown Delrin
Smooth Chestnut Bone
Red Bone
Rose Bone
Bradford shield bone

You guys keep calling the 12OT a "peanut." Well, it sort of looks like one, but Schrade's name for it was Pal.

Here's one that I find interesting:

As with watches, I cannot answer that question about how many Peanuts I have on the grounds that it may incriminate me :D

Just picked up a stag Bulldog, it's quite the slicer, and like most of my other Peanuts, always looking to take a chunk out of my finger when I'm not paying attention. It got me when I was wiping down the blades :o

I don't have a pic of them all together, but I have four peanuts...and some of the other knives discussed as being cousins of the nut. I like small knives for day to day stuff.

My favorite. Case Chestnut bone in CV:

Case amber bone in stainless:

Surprising to me this yeller RR is my second favorite...Boy does it get sharp!

I also have a RR in amber bone that I carry when I go places that knives might not be allowed. If I have to stash a knife I want to be one I don't mind losing. I also use one of my two Buck 379s like Dougadd's for that purpose.

Until about 3 weeks ago, my chestnut bone, CV, med. stockman lived in my pocket for years. I loved that knife enough to try and legally adopt it as a family member. Then I saw a peanut. I saw the light, and needed to find a reason. I found a reason and bought a peanut: yellow delrin and CV. My life has changed greatly, and I have never been happier. But I fear the stockman might get lonely. I am loving that little peanut, and while I only own one (to answer your question), we are very close. Bone is next up.
