How many people bought their first Busse in 2004?

ACK! I'm being tracked. Yes, I posted a few and will post a few more soon.
Have got some great knives I will try to hold onto for a while, I hope. But we've all seen a Busse we can't live without and the trade-offs we must make.
 
My first order was a Ratweiller as soon as they were available. From there I've added a Battle Mistress E, a Satin Jack, and I have an Assault Shaker and a Natural Outlaw E in route. I want a Steel Heart and a Badger Attack E.
That's it, I'm buying no more. Well not until the Swamp Tac line comes out. Hope I'm not buying those with my social security check. :D :D
 
Got my first Busse (an SFNO) from the Company Store in October 2004, ordered an FSH in November, got a Magnum EU-17 in December, and am now waiting to see what the next knife is—hopefully a Satin Jack.

Started out with a HR from the swamp.. then the CT.. then the Rat Tail... then the Rat Trap folder.. then I picked up a sweet clip-point BA from IdahoSkunk, currentlty on the lookout for more INFI.. possibly a StealHeart Fusion (oh yeah...) ...waiting on a BD now... Eric... Awsome strategy guys, get you hooked to great blades from the swamp then leak in talk about neuclearINFI and BAM its all over for any other knife makers!! I find myself thinking "psh, thats not sr101 OR INFI, why the heck would I pay for that!"
 
Seriously...I don't go anywhere else anymore. Every once in a while I take a peek around just to make sure there are other knives out there and I am not living in some kind of Busse/Swamp Rat "Matrix" ;) . Once I am get some level of comfort that I have not been completely brain washed, I settle back into this community to join what seem like old friends. :cool:

Got interested in Busse in summer '03 (looking to replace my CRK Shadow IV with something a little bigger). Won a contest for my first Busse in Nov '03 a dessert tan Buffalo Soldier (still makes me smile) . I then got a PT5 and an urban SK in '04 and finally will replace the CRK with an EU17 as a general camping, backpacking an kayaking knife. . I love all but none more than that BS that Jerry so generously gave me. I use it all the time and it reminds me of a great "pick-me-up" that Jerry sent to me during a difficult time in my life. That reminds me... anymore contests coming up soon Jerry?

Maybe I have had WAYYYYYYY too much INFI on the brain - I saw "PSH" above and immidiately I had to ask myself - just what exactly is a PSH? Some sort of special edition Steel Heart? :D Then I LMAO and shut the computer down for the night hoping for some sort of refuge from the madness. :p

Remember the urban legend how movie theatres would supposedly have one clip in a movie preview that would show a photo of an ice cold Coke/Pepsi and some popcorn to subliminally coerce movie-goers to stand in line for refreshments? I think Jerry has gotten with Microsoft (or at least this web host) and programmed little snapshots of SH's, BM's, NO's, SJ's, AD's, etc., etc. to flash on that 59th hertz. :D

By the way Oni, I resemble that remark. :cool:

Well, I didn't buy my first Busse in 2004, but I did buy my first bit of INFI (INFICoot) from Skunk! Definite theme here... :D :D
 
I ordered on Dec 10, 2004 and it was delivered on 31 Dec 2004. It is a Busse SFNO satin finish with black paper micarta.

I didn't know that I was supposed to include the rats. I have a Camp Tramp and a Rat Trap.

On order: Bog Dog and Howling Rat.
 
Ordered and sold my first Busse last year. Thanks to xmas I'm looking at a Rat in the near future.

IIRC, I bought my first ten Busses in 2004. It all started with a DABA, then quickly progressed to a couple Ergos, some Jacks, more DABAs, and some Basics. Sporadic employment forced the sale of all but three, but when I'm a little better off there will be more. :D

Porkacious (AKA Voracious, AKA the NJ INFI-Pimp, AKA the most bad@$s florist ever to spritz orchids in Keyport, AKA Jody) sold me my first Busse in 2004. Eric sold me my first Swamp Rat that same year (at least he answered all of my emails whining for it).
