How many people bought their first Busse in 2004?

First knife I bought from Busse/SRKW was a Safari Skinner I purchased from Eric at Blade 2004, then I got a Camp Tramp, A Satin BR, Ratweiler two tone and then picked up a Fat Euro from Jerry's Extravagazaaaaaaaa (it hasn't come in yet, but I see folks are getting theirs).

I really wanted a Baby BARF and/or standard BARF, but didn't think I had a chance to get one.....should have at least tried. :rolleyes: Those are the coolest knives I have EVER seen.

Still hoping my wife has a HOSFH on order for me - should know in two weeks on my B-day.

Yeh, first they let you have a little hit of the SR101 at a show and it feels good, next your'e doin' a couple lines of D2 just for fun, then you find yourself tied off and banging a spoonful of proprietary steel as the INFI rolls through your veins and you can't stop. Now you sit there with your Tali-Whacker in your hand cruising the online auctions for more...longer...thicker...double cut one-of-a-kinds and rarities to make you feel like that first time. They won't help you quit, no, they just bring on more, finer, meaner, thicker stuff knowing you will eventually work up to it. Then after a while, to finance your addiction, you start selling a little of your stash then you're an enabler just like them. God bless 'em. Pure flat ground INFI is exploding in my brains and I've got to go lie down for a while with dreams of HOFSHs in my head. If the cops raid the place remember, you've never heard of me and don't forget to flush your stash. :rolleyes:
 
Would have bought a Fusion Steel Heart direct from the company if they improve their customer service just a little.

Instead I bought a lightly used BM-E from a fellow forumnite Andrew Pinchen.

Oooo!!!!Man!!!!! I must say I am impressed with the quality of the grind.

Well, it's probably better this way!!! Don't want to be impressed and hooked at the same time, it's easier on the bank balance. :D

2004 - Year of the Rat. Started in August. First Rat/Busse was a Camp Tramp. After beating the hell out of it to see if I liked SR101 I got a few more. Then after getting an InfiCoot, I thought, hmm, maybe I should get a Busse:

Camp Tramp - Black (Standard Sheat)
Camp Tramp - Desert (stripped) (Leatherman Sheath)
Battle Rat - Black (Standard Sheath)
Satin Battle Rat - (Leatherman Sheath)
Howling Rat - Black (Okuden Sheath)
Infi Coot - (Okuden Sheath)
Rat Trap - No Number (Levi Sheath)

In Nov. I ordered a LEFSH not here yet.
I ordered a Active Duty from the company store and got excellent service from them.
I bought a ZTNO from a fellow here and a BA3 from another fellow
.
I won the small Barf in Dec.

The best part i have met a bunch of great guys!! :cool:

yessir. i did. probably a few more than that. at one time i actually had 40 busses plus some swampies. i have since pared the collection down a bit.
