I carry my small seb every day man. WHy would I spend that money on a working knife and not use it? It holds an edge great (bg-42) and my strop and steel prevent me from needing the sharpening stuff. That alone makes it worth the $$, but the cool factor of it, the fact that it dissasembles in seconds, smoothness, quality feel e.t.c. Nothing you haven't heard before.
The thing that did surprise me the most was upon receiveing the small sebenza, and already owning the large, I felt DONE with production knives. I will trade, but to buy a new production knife, unless it really grabs me, doesen't feel like it will happen for a year. You have the "best" production piece, why buy more stuff that cannot compare? And this is coming from someone who has handled most of em, and for my uses, the seb handles it. Keeping other knives for use around saltwater is a good idea, for loss reasons, but the seb will handle everything inshore. WHo woulda believed I used to be totally anti-sebbie? But once buying one, you save yourself the urges and impulse buys you otherwise woulda had, by just opening it a few times!
