  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How many think you could...

As long as its one I like.

I have carried my benchmade 690 for most days since i got it several years ago. I've gotten other knives since the 690, but I always seem to go back to it.

I have a Spyderco Yojimbo coming to me in the mail in a few days, I will see if that can replace the 690.

Did nothing but a Q for a year, then nothing but a Native 1 for a year.

And a Para for a year minus times that called for a bigger knife.

Working on a SNG 95% of the time right now.

I do it with my multitool, had my new Wave in pocket for a year now. I use to do it with folders, now I can do it for maybe a week or two.

In May, i will have gone about one year carrying the same Buck 110. Well, i carried a multi-tool when i went out of town for a week instead of my 110, and a few days during that year, i carried some one handers...

But it's still pretty close to a year.

...go an entire year and EDC the same knife for that year? :D

Loose lips sink ships brother!

All I am saying is that I hope nobody's wife sees this thread. You should know better than to post something like this where it could fall into the wrong hands and possibly give wives "Ideas" Bad ideas, dangerous ideas, radical ideas.

I EDC'd a CRKT Crawford/Kasper for a little over a year. Until i totally succomed knife lust and started buying new knives every couple of months.

Even if I wore a pair of overalls all day every day and could edc any knife I wanted regardless of its size,I would have to change over every few days. Boredom would quickly set in. Thats the fun of this hobby. Were always looking forward to the next knife.

Been EDCing a Case Canoe CV for about 18 Months, tempted to go to a T2, 960, 707 or a Mini Presidio, decisions decisions. :)

I think I made it for 3 months once with a Benchmade 690. That was right at the beginning of my knife collecting. Now I have about a dozen in rotation, but the 690 is still my favorite.

My Delica is the only knife I EDC on a regular basis. That'll change when I pick up a Native and my first axis lock in the coming months I'd imagine. :P

No problem, I've EDC'd a Victorinox SwissChamp for the last 15 years. It lives in a belt holster.
Whenever I get a new knife or multi-tool, I still carry the SwissChamp alongside the newer knife.

Carried the same buck muskrat for 22 years before I got into 1 handed folders. Recently carried a Buck 181 Odyssey (ATS34 with G10 scales) for three years. Still have both knives. They are thinner, battered and scratched, but still VERY sharp. Just carry bigger and faster stuff now :) .
Also have a Leatherman Supertool from when they first came out that I still EDC.

Yep, I'd say I've basically done that with my D2 Griptillian. I got it for Christmas a couple years ago and have only added 2 folders to the stable since. One is a CS Gunsite II which I currently can't find :( and the other is a Greco Falcon. I like both of the back-up knives, but keep coming back to the Grippy. The next rival I'd like to introduce to the pack is a Lone Wolf Harsey Tactical/Ranger or a T2, depending on funds at the time.

It doesn't matter what other knives I carry, this has been with me ED since I bought my first one back in 1998.

Same EDC for a year...No Problem.

Well I carried a Vic. Tinker for at least ten years as my only pocket knife.

Ah but that was before i was a knife nut you say. Well I could go with an Endura 4 as my edc no problem. But that would be no fun at all.

Bad enough I got to have only one woman.......
