Somehow I lost my slimline trapper today, and I can't count how many times I've checked my pockets looking for it.
I don't know what I keep thinking, is it stuck in my pocket in the way that I keep missing it ? Is it magically going to reappear ?
No clue, I just know it's not there and I don't like when things of mine go missing.

Hopefully it turns up, I've checked the usual suspects but you know how that goes. It found its way out of my watch pocket at some point in the past 5 hours or so.

It is in between the car seat and center console.
Funny you mention that. Back in the seventies I lost a 34OT for over a year - finally found it when I dropped my car keys between the seat and transmission hump in my Opel sport coupe and went digging for them. Found keys and knife.

Naww!! It's in the sofa!!
I found a Tony Bose wharncliffe trapper That had been missing for many months (I should say, my wife found it!!), in my sock drawer!! Tucked into a rolled-up pair of winter socks!!
I hope you find your trapper, soon, Hickory n steel Hickory n steel !!

Every knife I’ve ever lost and found was under my car seat or in the couch. The ones I didn’t find, who knows. Probably the same place all the missing socks go to.

Sorry to hear your Trapper is AWOL.
I hate it when one of mine does that.

I hope you re-locate it soon.
Have you checked the dish washer, and the washer and drier, and the pockets of what you were wearing yesterday (also the coats you wore today)? Maybe it is hiding in one of them.

Ah man, so sorry for your loss! It's always the last place you look, though. I lost my first stockman for a couple of months and found it under my bed. Don't ask because I don't know how it got there.
Good Luck!

Take heart, but you might be in for the long haul;) Found a Chambriard le compact Stag in some DISGUSTING pair of old black jeans that came to light during last month's move:cool: Last seen c 2013:eek::D

Two points though: Did you actually put it in your pocket?;)because it might just be lurking about somewhere yet you're convinced it's in the pocket:) Watch-pocket for that size knife??:confused:o_O it's a pretty long knife..your WP must be for an alarm clock:D

Hope your slimline trapper reappears H&S.

I had a Drop Stop (as seen on tv / Shark Tank) in my last car, and it was extremely useful. Backstopped a lot of stuff from falling between the car seats and center console. May need to get another one, or perhaps do an arts and crafts project to fashion something myself.

Found a custom lost for over a year in a chair. If you have not been out of the house or car, your chances are very good. Even if you did get out of the car, it would be unlikely to fall from a watch pocket without noticing. Keep looking.

Case makes some suede slips that will not slide out of any pocket. I seldom carry a knife without one.

This almost always happens because you hurriedly dropped it into a pocket - but it didn't actually go in. Think back to where you were sitting or standing the last time you used it. It will be there somewhere.

I have had knives turn up in the door seal of my front load washing machine, and once had a utility knife fall out of a couch with a pair of glasses months after I brought said (used) couch home from my sister's (her husband had been looking for the glasses for over a year). The couch was interesting because I had searched it thoroughly for other missing pocket debris many times (I still don't know how/where the utility knife was stuck).
