I apologize if this has been done, but I've seen people talk about having hundreds of knives or dozens of high end manufactured or custom knives. Just curious how much this little hobby (or lifestyle) has cost you (we all know that it's given back way more;)). As a noob, so far I've spent about $210, $330 if you count my Surefire. I know people have gotten rid of knives so it's up to you if you want to say how much you've spent over you lifetime or just what you currently have.

what I have right now is about $3K in knives, less than $200 in sharpening & accessories

i would guess my current collection at around 4,500 or so, counting swords and not counting sharpening devices. lol.

Edit : up to 4,787.00 now. lol.

Let's see...counting your surefire, more than that on one knife.

:P

It's not a competition.
Or a contest.
But it may be a bit personal.
Speaking for myself...I'd rather not add it up.
:D

My wife may be watching, so I don't add up the cost of my guns or my knives. but it is substantial. Steven

I don't even want to think about it...

Edit: OMFG with guns too!?!? I REALLY don't want to think about it then...

That being said, its not even close to some of the guys on here.

Let's see, 50 or so knives, a dozen or so Busses -- add ---add --add--- well, that's --- way over $35 already. How do I know my wife won't read this. Izzat you, gorgeous?? (:D :D )

I told the wife that it came out of a box of Cracker Jacks.

I really have no idea.
I don't know how much money I've spent.
I couldn't put a dollar value on what it's worth.
I do know that it's worth a lot more than I spent.
I've never sold a knife out of my collection

The street value of all the knives I own is somwhere between 200 and 300 dollars. Most my money goes towards skateboarding, knives take a strict backseat to that and other hobbies.

I dont know. Dont wanna know! Its worth more than i spent though.
Cheaper than sitting in the tavern every night!
:D
