I would love a 777! As long as the price isn’t over $1000 lol. Let me know if he ever wants to part with it.

Here are most of my knives. Missing a few randoms…

I had a bunch of questions about my collection. I keep up to date records of everything that I own just in case of fire or I die lol. So here are all the details…

What software did you use to create that? I'm not "compu-savvy"; but it looks really neat! 😎👍
Thanks! I’ve spent way too much time screwing around with these spreadsheets lol.

Used to use Microsoft Excel because I was used to it, but it costs too much $. So I’ve switched over to Apple Numbers. It’s a free default program on my iPad and iMac. Works fine for me!

I thought about using a spreadsheet, thought about how much I hated doing spreadsheets, and how it doesn't quite fit what I'm trying to do with every knife (especially the differences between fixed and folding) and just do spaced entries for every knife (grouped by region of origin and brand) on a Word document, to personalize the data more for each knife:

Zero Tolerance ZT 0640 Emerson 0640CF (US) Black/Green Carbon Fiber w/ Titanium Frame/CPM 20CV Tactical Folder 3.75”/1”/0.15” Satin Finish, Plain Edge, Flat Grind, Clip Point 4.4oz Phosphor Bronze Washers, Flipper Opener Frame Lock w/ Hardened Steel Lockbar Insert, Tip Up Right/Left Pocket Clip Ernest Emerson (Sale 284.00/Reg 395.00)

Lion Steel M5 LSTM5CVG (Italy) Green Canvas Micarta, fixed w/ stainless steel Torx T8 screws/Sleipner steel (60-61 RC) Fixed, Full Tang 4.53"/0.18” Satin Finish, Flat Grind, Plain Edge, Drop Point 8.39oz Leather Sheath Michele Pensato Molletta’ (219.99)

Nicee, yeah that’s way more descriptive that way.

oh-OH! oh-OH! . . .My best imitation of Horshack from "Welcome Back Cotter".

Besides knives, our son and I co-own (well now they are his) several swords:

A ceremonial saber given to him by an old Texas A&M alum when he was in college. . . .passed down from the class of 1942 1942 to the class of 2002. Its a little un-straight from being played with by the donor's kids and grands who all went to UT in Austin.

A Mameluke saber given to him by me and his mother when he was at Quantico. I laid out some coin there; it is a premium article, and I had his name etched in and so on.

A neighbor gave us a Civil War Saber marked 1862 (Model 1860, Light Cavalry Saber, "Millard Contract") that had been in her family. Oddly, while it is a Union saber, the family were solid sons-of-the-south for generations . . . .well that does happen of course.

I have no idea how much these should be valued at. The USMC saber cost me significantly more that many of its type, so I could only insure it for the replacement cost I guess. The A&M Saber is just an heirloom (so, "priceless"). The cavalry saber was appraised many years ago, but I have lately seen identical sabers offered on line for three times that.
