How much money have you spent on knives in the last year?

I have spent just under $1,200 on 13 knives in the last year, which includes one VG-10 Endura given to a lady friend, and a Leatherman multi-tool.

How much ya'll spend?

Thx a lot...I just shocked myself. Over $1000. The most expensive was my Benchmade Forum 705 at $200. This year I expect it to be about $500 total.

Yeah, right, you are just trying to get people in trouble and that is all there is to it. Some of us have enough trouble explaining things as it is...
 
I will not allow my self to think about it. If I do, I think I will realize that I spent enough to put down A LOT on a car.
 
This thread could lead to a lot of people getting in deep with there other halves. Let's just say that I have spent a lot and leave it at that. ;)
 
Well, enough to make me question whether or not it's getting out of hand....:p
 
I have no other halfs....
I'd say 200-300 CDN for 2 months of so. I only started that long =P
 
I have an excel spreadsheet where I keep track of my knives.
During the last two years, I've spent in excess of $14 000 .
 
Well, you got me to thinking and adding up. Since I joined this forum in Feb.2000 I have spent over 3000.00 on Hi khukuris and tacticle folders. Some where around a dozen or so of each.
Before I found this forum and got to find out a LOT about knifes I just saw in magazines, I only bought the occasional blade for a certian use. Not so now!! The interaction on this forum has been a great learning lesson and a killer to my wallet! OH THE SWEET PAIN!!! HeeHee
 
Everytime I say, "that's how much" I remember another knife. It wasn't that much compared to a lot of you guys, probably 400-500.
 
Damn, I thought you guys would be higher then me. I've only been into knives since the beggining of they year. Only May and already $1,357 for this year; and have another $1,300 planned out to buy for three pieces.

Somewhere between $22,000.00 and $24,000.00.Close as I can figure.I guess you could say I was a knife dude.:)
