How much of the handle to cover?

I was sure that your loop made it around the sheath for ambidextrous carry. Thanks for those explanations and pics, priceless. :thumbup:
 
Thanks for those pictures Paul, it is now perfectly clear.

I initially believed the belt-loop was a "U" shaped piece with both ends stacked together, which would have made the sheath much thicker.

The "J" shape you show (with each end of the belt-loop sewn individually) makes a lot of sense.
