hey everybody!
thanks for the great replys.. i admit i hadnt really thought about keeping it. but i am seriously considering it now.

as for dementions.. i pulled out my calipers.. and i admit.. it is kinda funny.. all the dementions came out even (excpet for blade thickness) i just drew it and made it..
andyway..
Blade: 3.5" long 0.165" thick
Handle: 5" long, .55" thick

weight... umm.. not sure.. i will find a scale.

i am gonna try the finishing touches Trace recomended, as well as sand blasting the srew hols to get the final traces of sharpie off.

as for:
does the blade wobble (open or closed ) no. not side to side, not up or down.. it is incredibly solid. that is my opinion.. i will show it to stacy the next time i go over and he can report to you.
how is the closed "detent" hold the blade the detent hold it shut.. but is easy enough to get over that it isnt annoying or difficult
how far will the lock bar walk over while seatign the lock face (this can be a big one) the lock at full lock is almost half way across the blade. i agree it would be best to watch this one and make the next ones better.

as for price.. i really appreciate your feedback and will consider it when pricing the next one.

i still have to put my mark on it and will post pictures when it is finally done.

You can easily ask 250 - 300 for this piece.:thumbup:

I agree with the $250 plus. Looks great great, nice grinds, materials. Little details. Plus everyone here knows what kind of skill have and work you do. That right there makes your knives a bit more valuable, You are well on your way to having a great reputation. I believe it is one of the single most valuable assets in any trade. Keep it up Jim

Chris, that is a great looking folder.

I have been wanting to build one as well, now I really want too. Very nice job, as usual... I say keep it.
 
i think that the consensus is to keep it. I am planning on doing that. plus.. now if someone says "so do you have any of then knives you have made?" i can say.. "sure!"

I appreciate your comments. i wouldn have a repuation without you guys, and i really do apprecate your feedback. it really helps me keep going.

i have taken three days off of work to focus on a few projects.. i still have to go to school but now i have time to work on my first integral, and gotta finish some fittings.. maybe finish a large tanto.. wel will see.. but yall have energised me for extra productivity!
