Yup, without criticism we never grow.

Heck as a newer CRK owner I learned alot about the reessmably of these knives from this thread. :thumbup:

But Just wanted to keep things in perspective.

It's easy to speak through the veil of anomonity versus putting yourself out there for the world to judge.

i like Nicks reviews, i dont like his use of nano oil because its snake oil marketing, plus he lathers it on like its going out of style. i find it wayyyyy too much seeing that you can apply a very small amount and dab it with a qtip and will be more than enough to protect the metal. too much just gets gummy and nasty and require having to clean it out sooner than later, not to mention all over your pants, hands, food whatever.

Haha. Glad we are good with each other! FYI: My YouTube channel is focused on the folding spoon and fork community. Y'know, the kind you take camping. It's a rabbit hole you don't want to fall in. It'll cost you big time. Folding spoon people, in particular, are voracious critics. Look for my channel under 'Tacticalspork'. :D

I think it would be more accurate to say "Eventually, he made a big point of claiming repeatedly and not politely that his knowledge surpassed Chris's knowledge and experience..." and yes, I think I recall some words back and forth here. :-| But perhaps the quoted text was intended ironically. I was reading literally. :)

Personally i can't bring myself to sit through one of his videos, too much inaccurate information in most of them.
 
so good to know that some of the things he did were waay different. I just picked up 2 sebenzas and watched his and the apostlep's vids...i did a combination of both and i guess ill go back to using the CRK grease. TBH TheApostleP did a good job. Ill check out Jdavis' video as well...
 
I like to watch all 3 of them, Jdavis not so much lately, but I've enjoyed a lot of vids from Apostle and Nick.

After reading this whole thread I'll sub them both to support.

Very nice quality channels. Btw, Nick's takedowns/reassembles lol bigtime.
