How often do you change your EDC

Bout like Noodle. No pics, but my edc fills 3 shelves in my 28 gun safe. Sometimes I switch 'em out several times a day, sometimes I'll carry the same thing for months on end.
 
I use to switch them up and rotate all the time.
But ever since I bought my first Sebenza followed by the Zaan I only ever switch between the two now.

Somedays I'm so torn by which one to carry that I break down and end up carrying both.

It's a sickness I know! :D
 
I've got 7 knives to choose from. I'll usually take 2 or 3, depends on how I'm feeling or where I'm going that day.
 
Kind of embarassing to say this but I actually switch out my EDC several times a day, lol!
I guess my most-carried knife is probably my Para2. I simply love that knife, it' s my favorite(And I have lots of knives!):)
Overall I guess I have 10 knives that I EDC regularly, but I do carry and use all my knives!

edit: I ALWAYS EDC the Spyderco Bug and carry a SAK of some sort to accompany my main blade.
 
I rarely switch the fixed blade or the SAK. But the folder changes whenever I get one to replace the other. At this moment, I highly doubt that is going to happen.
 
I change EDCs based on whim. Whatever I feel like for the day. I usually stick to a few, but there is no organized planning. I'm pretty comfortable with all my usin' knives.
 
I mainly edc the sog flash 2 or cold steel paradox and change between the two with a mini griptlian for place with under three in knife restriction and on some occasions an American made schrade old timmer lock back knife
 
Every Day. I change my main blade & keychain knife/multitool/ect. every day.

Hmmm, what shirt should I wear? Okay that one. Pants... yeah these will do. Watch, sure the digital one.

Now.... what knife?

I rotated my EDC about once a year, until I got the ZT 0560. Now, I'm not sure if I will ever find another knife I like so much. :D
 
i have a Buck 110, a Muela Plegable, a case hunter, and a CRKT that I rotate, no real rhyme or reason. I favor the 110 and Muela though.
 
I think that I am pretty much conservative. When I am satisfied, I stick with things. I do not do a lot of heavy cutting, so no need for supersteels. When i first got into modern knives within few month I went through Gerber X-frame, Emerson Traveler, Griptilian, Spyderco Native, Presideo, Delica ZDP, Delica VG10/SE, Adventura. Than in August 2006, I bought Spyderco C83 Persian and it stick to my RFP. About a year ago Navaja attempted to replace Persian, at least for few day a week, but it lasted couple weeks only.
The rest of my pockets were empty, so R2 lived in my LFP for few month, until it was kick-out by G10 Caly3, which live there for about four years until Spyderco produced Caly3.5, which is there now.
Kopa Cocobolo found a place in my watch pocket. Jigged bone Micro-Dyad attempted to replace it, but it was successful for about a week only and then Kopa came back. Still I didn't like a clip in my watch pocket, so two month ago, after four years in service without vacation, Kopa was replaced by Moki Glory.
I do not know the future, but sometimes I can hear that green Para2 is calling my name.........
 
It depends on my mood or where I am going, if I'm riding around in a car a lot I usually grab my hest for the glass breaker, if I know ill be in a shady area or neighborhood then my ak-47 or my Gerber after I gave it a wicked back cut, I use my folding razel for work and box cutting along with my 5.11 one, and if I feel like it I grab my endura 4 sometimes also. I stick to my one and only mini griptilian. I sorta like the fact that I can rely on one knife every day, every time and it still holds up. Planning to use it forever unless it breaks beyond repair or gets lost(god forbid!).

I have multiple fixed blades for different tasks and such, but my edc and I have a special relationship. I will remain faithful =)
 
I keep my rotation to four knives. I use my smallest knives for work, because we arnt supposed to carry a knife at all so my boss told me to carry small knives. :D So for work I was carrying a Spyderco Zulu, but I recently traded it on the forums so now I carry a Benchmade Mini Bone Collector and a ZT0350SW for work. And two of my bigger knives are with me everywhere else because I like to have something that can handle anything when Im with my family. So for outside of work, or casual EDC, I was carrying a ZT0350SW and Kershaw Speed Bump.. but now the 350 is for work and the Speed Bump is taking a break so I just acquired my two new EDCs which I have yet to receive but will be carrying a full size Benchmade Griptilian 550HG and a ZT0200. Which I think is cool because either way Im carrying a ZT and Benchmade. :D

I changed my EDCs a few time in the last month or two, just to find the right pairs, but usually I keep the same EDCs for a long time.. It just depends how much I like them, their condition, among other things. When I started to switch my EDC line up was when I started working at the new company and had to get smaller knives. before I was EDCing two CRKT M21-14SFG Big Dogs.... and a S&W HRT out the front tanto for a gentlemans knife which was a gift from my wife. The S&W is retired because of the way it was built, its very open so everything and anything can get into the guts of the knife and I dont want to ruin it. But I had those knives as my EDCs for 4+years because I loved them and they were amazing knives.

No particular order or rotation for me but my current edc drawer (not all my knives, just the ones I carry on a regular basis) consists of:

Spyderco Para2
Spyderco Sage2
Spyderco Dragonfly g10
Spyderco Dragonfly salt (serrated, orange dyed handle)
ZT 0350
BM Ares (m390)
BM Ritter mini (m4 blade/cuscadi cf micarta scales)
BM Ritter mini (s30v blade/stock orange scales)

I pick the one (or multiple) that I'm feeling like carrying. It also depends on what I'm wearing and where I'm going.
