How Often Do You Oil The Joints?

Pretty much what jacknife posted, if I have to sharpen it it usually gets blown out and oiled. After all with a dozen or so oils within arms reach its not too much trouble.

Blown out. Good idea. I should get a can of compressed air. Sometimes an old knife comes my way that may need more than just getting the joints oiled.

Ok, this thread inspired me to oil up around 50 knives last night:thumbup:

I have no idea how Mobiloil works, but congrats on taking care of those babies! You've added years to their lives!

I'm rooting around for some more candidates for oiling. The oil can says for external temperatures from -40c to +50c, with maximum wear resistance. I reckon that encompasses all EDC Traditional needs
