How Often Do You Take Knife Breaks?

Well ...I guess I take breaks quite often...I do wait till the current order arrives bafore placing another...

My wife and I are trying for our first child together and I'm in panic mode to buy as much as possible since I'm sure I won't be able to after we get blessed with a little one.

Hilarious. I remember that. The month we found out, I bought a Sebenza, Strider and a Busse. Figured it would be my last chance to own them. Don't worry though. The hobby will persevere.

Just a quick question for you dedicated knife fans: How often do you decide you have enough [boxes of] knives (or your wife decides), and you take a break? And if so, how long do these breaks last, and what finally puts you back into a buying mode?

I also like firearms -- mostly handguns -- and one of those depletes my funds for awhile! But what about you? Are you interrupted by quantities, other hobbies or your spouse?

I go around ever 5 months until i buy a new knife, granted I'm in college and money is tight..

I got my eyes set on a new purchase, and the BM 480 Loki (with the carbon fiber) looks to be my new knife
