I had to select Rarely assuming that we are talking about knives that I carry on my person.

I used a pocketknife more often when I was working but even then it was seldom. Had to be careful who saw me using my personal knives because we were required to use a company issued utility knife.

Unfortunately, I haven’t used a pocketknife since I retired 11 weeks ago despite the fact that I still carry one.

Curious what size knipex you carry? In the Midwest guys always carry some sort of pliers.
The mini, carried in a slip on my belt. There's a full-sized pair of regular pliers in the truck door. They are invaluable at times. Here's the knipex and slip. You can see from the second picture a little slip patina developing.

Thanks for the picture. That's a nice set up. Think I'm gonna add that to my belt. The uses are endless. Thanks again

I use my knife/ knives daily usually several times throughout the day some days more than others. It’s rare that I would go a day without using a knife except maybe when I’m sick. There was a time or two that I forgot to grab my knives before going to work a long time ago and had to scrounge around for a utility knife or something. That’s when I started keeping a knife in my lunch bag and another in my pickup. I actually have knives stashed in various places just in case. 😆

Multiple times a day in the shop. Knipex, too. I went with the second smallest knipex. The smallest feel too small.

Every day. I thought this thread was to discuss how many times a day, not how many times a week. Sometimes a few times a day, sometimes all day long a ton

Every day, usually multiple times in a day. I use a White River Sendero Classic to open boxes and cut cardboard at work. And for everything I need a good knife for at home. This week its a White River M1 Caper, mostly because I just got a leather sheath for it. The Sendero will be back on the belt soon enough, the M1 is just a bit too dainty for my tastes. Handy, but it's more of a back-up size, for me.

4-6 times a week on average.

I tend to use the tools on my Leatherman Surge more since I work in a Data Center.

Isn’t the real question, how many different knives do you use in a day?
I think that's a more interesting question. Typically, I would use:
2 for farm chores (plain-edge fixed blade and serrated folder)
2 or 3 for food (paring, steak, table)
1 for various other things like opening packages, but not every day
So that works out to about 5 on average.
