Got this one back to fix er up today. I'm guessing he would be on the multiple times a day deal as the knife is not that old. Broke the tip skinning the paw on a mountain lion, which I would vote for him getting extra credit points for that for sure. I mean when was the last time you skinned the paw on a mountain lion? This is when Horsewright raises his hand and says me, never. Anyhoo obvious multiples:

The character on that knife and sheath is absolutely fantastic. What a great looking pairing.

That’s a nice looking knife, I’m a bit jealous.

I handle inventory for a utility company, I use mine almost all day every day. At home I’m still cooking or opening something with them.

I have a hard time thinking of a day where one of my knives doesnt get used. I'm a wireless broadband tech so I'm cutting wires, cable, insulation, zip ties, boxes, etc all day. On the weekends they get used for food, packages, and other types of work around the house.

You mean while the cat was still alive? Bet he dulled the edge some, too.

Okay, extra credit points granted.

Its tricky but doable. Good shot of whiskey for the kitty.

Thanks thats one of my Vaquero models in 26C3 high carbon steel with a ramshorn handle and black liners. The sheath is an old style Horizontal Sheath, (crossdraw), in roughout. A practical combo.

The mini, carried in a slip on my belt. There's a full-sized pair of regular pliers in the truck door. They are invaluable at times. Here's the knipex and slip. You can see from the second picture a little slip patina developing.

I like those Mini Cobra Knipex! I’ve been carrying a pair for several months and got about a dozen more to hand out for Xmas this year.

As for using knives, I voted daily.
I shave with a straight razor and carry/use knives often at home and work. While there are probably days that I don’t CUT anything with a knife, there are zero days where I don’t fidget with a fixed blade while relaxing before bed. 👍

I carry one knife daily when I'm at home: a 74mm Victorinox Executive is always in my pocket. I use it multiple times a day: blade/s scissors, tweezers, toothpick, nail file, orange peeler (packages mostly). When I go out of the house (town, walk, hike), I add one of these three: Benchmade Bugout 535BK-2, Benchmade Mini-Presidio-2, or Mini-Griptilian. Those larger knives get used very little as I don't leave the property more than a couple times a week these days.

I'm guessing most of you knife users are not desk jockeys or work in white collar jobs. Lot of box opening and breakdown going on in this thread. My career was white collar (finance) but I always had two knives on me daily. Back then it was the SAK Classic which I used all day doing the same tasks as in the thread above. My real knife back then was a Buck Squire 501 but I had no occasion to use it at work though it was with me daily. Used much more on weekends. My camping knife was my old 110 but the 501 was great for picnics and food prep. Great steak knife too!

Everyday, 3-5 times average I'd guess. But knife Super Bowl is right around the corner, Christmas. I'm still trying to choose my clam-shell slicing powerhouse champion for this year. :)
