I'm 43. I'll spread some advice to anyone younger than me (which seems to be not too many). Dad always told me since I was young to protect my ears. Grandpa was mostly deaf by 70, as a farmer running equipment and chainsaws and shooting rifles. Dad started protecting his ears in his 40's, but already had done a lot of damage. He cleared trees for the electric company, and didn't wear hearing protection in his 20's and 30's, and then finally wised up.

I'm glad I heeded that advise, I can still hear a mosquito flying by on the other side of the room.

I’m careful to protect my ears. I always wear double protection when I’m shooting or working with or near loud equipment. And I don’t listen to loud music. I’m glad to hear that it’s all worth it.

I’m only 53 but my body thinks it’s 153. I’ve had serious hip and legs issues the past 8 years. Currently use a walker. 👍

Hey guys I noticed a lot of sad emojis. I appreciate the thoughts but I’m not dead yet, nor am I giving up. I’m still enjoying life. Might not be able to do all I once did but there’s still plenty I can do. I just have to be creative and not over do it.👍IMG_1846.jpegIMG_1292.jpeg
