The only problem with harvesting it is, first the grossout factor, well silk that we do use comes from catepillers so that isn't to big a deal, but spiders are canabylistic.

Spider silk is actually being harvested through the milk of genetically engineered goats.

Does it grow out of the milk like hairy mold? or do they just have really sringy funcky milk?....this is rather interesting do ytou know wear more info would be?

wouldn't the goats nipples clog up? and it would be a pain trying to get all the silk fibers going one way if you do manage to get them out of the goat.
