Really?!? Sounds interesting. Anyone else ever try this? I'd like to hear a bit more before I try it.
Regarding the OP... why not try both methods being proposed? First the hot water with abrasive cleanser and a pastic scrubby/toothbrush/etc., dry the sticks off well after, THEN do the eraser if not clean enough. Or the other way around.
I find the eraser (white vinyl style in my case) works better than the cleanser and scrubby, though.
