Photos How Well Do We Know Our ABC's? (Traditional Version)

Mustard looks like lemon!
Yeah, maybe trying to do colors this trip through the alphabet was not a good choice by me :(, since I can barely recognize "primary" colors, let alone the nuanced colors I need to use here. To me, mustard definitely looks like lemon, which looks like daffodil, which looks like dandelion, which looks like banana, which looks like gold, which looks like canary – they're all YELLOW, for goodness' sake!:rolleyes: But I don't "hit" much of the alphabet with "my" colors of black, white, red, yellow, blue, orange, green, brown (and maybe purple??).

Color me frustrated,

Thanks for the encouragement, Vince. :)
I knew you were just giving me the business, which I like.
But it also gave me an opportunity to vent my color frustration, so I did.
I'll certainly keep going with the colors, and yesterday I decided on my "theme" for the next round of ABCs.:thumbsup::D

Please tell us!!!

Please tell us!!!
Oops! Yeah, not many of you read minds, I suppose. :D

In the next trip through the alphabet, I'll post one knife for each letter, with the knife coming to me from a place (continent, country, state, county, city) whose first letter is the letter of the day. So it's a geographic theme, I guess.

For example, on the first day, I'd post a knife that was made in Albania, or a knife that I bought in Alabama (or bought online from someone in Alabama), or a knife that was a gift from someone in Australia, or a knife I got in a trade from someone in Atlanta, etc.

I did a quick mental inventory yesterday, and after a first pass I'm still missing about 6 letters, but I hope I can get most of those after a little more thought. (I'll accept all the help I can get for "Q" and "X", though!)

If anyone else wants to join in on that theme at some point, feel free!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Thanks for the support, Charlie!:thumbsup::)
I still have to make it through 13 more days yet on my "colors" theme, though.
Two weeks from today will be the next A-day, I think.

(Charlie, I've often thought you could probably put a big dent in the alphabet just using Barlow bolster stamps!:cool::D)
