Photos How Well Do We Know Our ABC's? (Traditional Version)

Consigli .........gifted me by my last remaining friend left in Kenya, my country of birth. His Mother was Italian and part of the captured community kept in WW2 POW camp near Mombasa - many Italians (and who would blame them given the place/weather..!!) later set up a community around Malindi which is active to this day, though far fewer in number. He collected this folder on one of his biking trips to his Mother's town.

D is for Dave @davek14, from whom I got this dapper and desirable Imperial clip/pen dual-bladed toothpick, displayed on a dock in Lake Huron. It's decidedly similar to a knife my Dad's Dad used to carry back when I was less than a decade old. Dagnabbit, I'm definitely devoted to dis dang dental device!! Danke, Dave!
