That's an interesting example, never heard of Pritzlaff until today:cool: Was that an actual maker or made on behalf of a Dept.Store kind of thing? Notable that the longpull cuts right through to the swedge and the shield is what? Kind of Federal/Bomb hybrid but really effective:thumbsup:

Will, John Pritzlaff Hardware company was in business from 1850 to 1957. I found a similar pattern in a NYK Co. catalog, so maybe it was made by them. The shield is different. Not sure what it's called. Nice patina on the Tidioutes!
