HT'g relish

Hey IG. I took a jar of your relish to our staff picnic on the weekend. I had it sitting on the table with a BIG sign saying "Caution! Very Hot" "Using this spicy relish is probably a bad idea"

Our cheif admin secretary got that "Are you daring me?" look and walked over like a runway model - slathered a full teaspoon on her burger bun and wolfed it down. All watched closely for the tears that never came.

This jar was just grocery store medium. Does the stuff have an expiry date? The jar of smoked is still hotter than the pepper spray on my duty belt!

That was my last jar. When the smoke runs out I'll be in serious withdrawl. Hope your growing season is in full swing.:D

Rob!!!! The long you keep it the hotter it gets.:eek: It collapses on itself. Did you get any salsa last year???? I have a jar in the refrigerator for two years now and this stuff isn't fit for man nor beast. HEHEHE!! Ask Dan Gray about his jar.:D

in order for it to be hot (at least in that end:confused: ;) ) it has to touch the taste buds.. of coarse she could be IG's type of woman too:)
 
After watching her, everyone jumped in and had some - me included. They were dipping it out in gobs on nachos. Part of me want to take in the smoked jar to show them what hot really is - but it's my last jar. Yes, it is last years stock. It was my first year ordering - and I've ordere more this year for sure!

that must have been the batch IG pee'ed in trying for a new taste but just ended up cooling it off :eek: :rolleyes: :D :D

Leave me out of it tho... I'm a wimp. Regular Tabasco is hot enough for me.

I'd love to get a jar of each (one smoked, one regular) if the stock is still holding up. Maybe I'll drive up over your way and pick it up in person and take you up on that tour you offered a while back ;)

Now why is it that i just sat here and read through all the posts and my mouth is watering like crazy? That sounds like some delicious stuff!
