HUGE change in my life has occurred

Eric my friend, I am at a loss for what to say …
... heard of this while I was in the va hosp my self for aneurysm in my groin..
I know this has to be devastating to your way of live and
I don’t think I would be holding up as well as you seem
(and I hope) you are..
Prayers and hope sent from West Virginia!
I am glad some one brought you a computer!
Done hesitate to email me or any of us !!
Some times talking of things can be a therapy in it own right..
I Know it is for me .. and any of us will be glad to lend a ear!!!

Thanks for all the comments you guys. It is really a lift reading all of the posts. I am grateful for what I still have left and I WILL be back making and collecting my Buck knives very soon. I make huge strides each day. Maybe in 4 to 6 weeks I'll be back home they told me yesterday. Can't have any knives in the hospital so I'm having severe withdrawals!! Anyway, thank you guys and anyone can call me if they would like at (970) 630-9800. Best time is in the afternoon after 3:00.

Eric

Hi Eric, I am jumping in too, with prayers and hope for a speedy recovery. The human spirit is an amazing thing and miracles happen everyday. One day soon you will be talking about the newest miracle in your life. Good luck and perservere.

Eric,

Best wishes on recovering.... Is there a chance that you could regain some use of your legs?

My wife had a stroke and it took about 6 months for her to improve to the point she is now which is with very little wrong so I am hoping you will improve too.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Eric! I'm looking forward to more Buck goodness coming from your shop!

Sorry to hear about your condition and wish the best for you. I am a t 10 myself with the added bonus of a right arm amputation and never expected anything like this to happen to me but it did and life goes on, you just have to make the best out of it.

Eric, I'm very sorry to hear that. Good luck with the recovery!

I don't know if you received my "Thank you very much!" for the great 532 with olive wood which you just sent to me 2 weeks ago. Going to post photos here soon.

I was hurt in 1973 and it was 2 years before I could walk again.....The physical therapist is a very important person to you right now. I wish I had worked harder and listened more! I'll be praying for you..

hoping for a speedy recovery for you "arksknives".
there must be plenty going about in your head during this period of readjustment;
and this is going to sound like a cliche, but now would be a good time to picture the really important things in life that makes living so precious.

I wish the best for you & your family,Eric.

I've never experienced anything like this through myself,or my family,so I don't think I can offer any words of wisdom for you.I wish I could.:(

Just keep fighting,& don't ever give up.

You can count on daily smoke & prayers from the Roderick family to you.

Good Luck

In times like this when a terrible thing has happened to you you draw strength from your friends and loved ones....Our prayers for your FULL recovery continues every day..

Things are getting a little better each day. I'm getting stronger and the soreness from all the training is slowly getting better each day. This afternoon I'm going on a trip to the Denver Museum. Can't wait to get home and get my shop set up so I can start working on knives again! Thank you guys for all the positive comments and prayers!

Eric
