No, really I'll probably shoot off a few hundred rounds of .45 ACP at some point this year, but not right now (poor poster is poor because he buys too much knifes)

For the 100th Anniversary I signed up for Roger's shooting school. My Rock River Arms 1911 Government will be joining me. I picked up the pair of RRA's last year and also had a large 1911 holster order ship in anticipation of the 100th anniversary. I am really looking forward to the class. 500 rounds through each of the RRA's so far and 100% in the Government. Commander is picky about which magazines it locks open with(3 Wilson Combat mags are a no go, all other magazines are fine), but so far no other stoppages.

Here is my EDC .45, a Kimber Elite Carry from the custom shop, only 1200 made, I bought 2. It is only 13 years old, but has never had a failure or problem of any kind, and I run my stuff pretty hard sometimes. It comes alive in my hands like no other, and I have had or shot just about everything out there. Ditto on the SJTAC LE, it is old and used, and I have lots of "newer" replacements, but seem to always keep this one close by.

Bought me a Colt Gov Custom 1911 with real Elephant Ivory grips,best gun I own! I carry a G19 sometimes, which is a good gun,but It won't outshoot my 1911! I also bought a new Busse HHFSH and a NMFBM! What a celebration!Bring on 2011!!!

Scary thought.
I watched a movie about Wyatt Earp on Sunday. You know, the legendary lawman of the western frontier, taming the wild and such? He was 62 in 1911.

Did you know that John Wayne knew Wyatt Earp personally? It makes perfect sense doesn't it.
All this talk of things that happened a hundred some odd years ago makes it seem like 100 years is not all that long.
I wonder if people will still be using their Glocks 100 years from now?
