Great looking knife, I especially like the white corian handles. Are they slick at all when wet?

Hi,
I just checked two corian handled knives, one with a buffed finish, and one with a satin finish like this one, and neither seemed slick.

Thanks for asking!

An excellent knife here. You guys are missing a bet if you want good user knife that looks good too. Mine is going to Africa in June.

Off topic a bit, but why on some knives like this one does the steel narrow towards the bottom of the handle? Does it balance the knife better or just because you can?

It does improve balance, but it also adds a bit of class, imo. Thanks for asking.

Thanks for your comments!
I like higher grinds also, but I only have a 10" wheel right now, so I don't think it would work with a blade this width. I was pricing bigger wheels a few days ago for just this purpose, and they're almost $400  So I'm going to have to save up for awhile...

Ya those wheels are pricey. I wanted a large one but could not find any in the size that i wanted so i am going to make it at work. Like maybe a 16" wheel :D. thats a good looking knife, if you added a finger cutout afret the handle material it would be getting preaty close to my 2nd Amendment knife ;)

great knife, i like your work.
trade? i have a block of titanium 6"x3"x1.5" looking for a new home.

Thanks but, this one is already taken. Have you considered ebay for selling your titanium? Also, you could upgrade to a knifemaker membership and sell it in the knifemaking supplies area.
