Hypothetical - you can only purchase from ONE MANUFACTURER!!! Which would you pick?

Just what the title stated. When I got to thinking about this, I was somewhat surprised by the swiftness and surety of my answer:

Cold Steel.

I trust their fixed blades and folders because my SRK has never let me down, and the old Medium Tanto Voyager I carried, being my first folder, cut more cardboard and pried open more paint cans  than a folder ever should!

Cold Steel doesn't make the flashiest - or prettiest - cutlery around, but they do make knives that get the job done.

So, to finish my own hypo, if I could only carry one manufacturer's products, they'd be CS; specifically, I'd carry a Trailmaster for my wilderness fixed blade and a new model Recon I, either tanto or clip point, for my folder. Heck, I could even get their axe for my firewood chopping!

So, which one manufacturer would y'all use, and which folder and fixed blade would you carry from 'em?

I know ~~ (2)~~ but Spyderco does not carry a really Big Camp Knife or Chopper.! And they do have more Knives to choose from plus more variety of Steel.*

Buck, they make excellent knives in every price point, you want to spend $10-$100-$300 there is something for you, how many $10 Spydercos are there?

1st- Chris Reeve Knives - small Sebenza

2nd- Spyderco knives - Paramilitary 2

I'm not a fan of fixed blades.

Spyderco for me. There are others whose knives I may like more, but Spyderco has more of a variety if I'm going to be limited to 1 manufacturer.

I would go with Cold Steel. If I have o stick to one brand then I want to make sure the knives will last for a long long time. Trailmaster for the big knife, Kobun for really lightweight easy to carry fixed blade and a Recon 1 folder mainly for the tri-ad lock.

Chris Reeve, best folders out there, and they have some Pretty decent fixed blade offerings, never owned one of theirs, but I could manage without my Reeve folders.

For fixed blades, one need only to check my sig line to know what i favor most. Each a custom piece without the custom price tag. H.I has met every expectation i could have or ever think of with world class customer service.

For folders, i like my kershaws. Affordable. Great designs. Impeccable customer service.

It would be nearly impossible to find a single brand with enough variety to keep me entertained. :)

Boker, maybe?

Cold Steel, for the above mentioned reasons. I really like my Kershaws and others, but a Recon 1 or Magnum Tanto is not going to let you down.

Actually...the Ed Schemp Rock...;)

I'd probably go with Cold Steel too, just because of the sheer variety of products they make. Otherwise I'd go with Condor--I find myself consistently reaching for something from either of the two companies on a fairly routine basis. Condor's only real limiting factor for me is no folders. :D
