Hypothetical - you can only purchase from ONE MANUFACTURER!!! Which would you pick?

To be honest there isn't a manufacturer out there that has products that cover the entire range of my cutlery interest. That being said I'd probably opt for Condor. I don't have any of their products at the moment but they would be the best fit for me in this scenario.

Kabar. No doubt in my mind. With the quality of products AND service, I'd have no problems sending them all of my knife money.

Like shotgun said, there isn't one company that covers all my needs.

For folders, i would pick either spyderco or zero tolerance.

For fixed blades, i would pick esee or kabar (Becker)

If you mean production manufacturer, I will have to say Zero Tolerance.

For custom, DDR hands down.

I like SAKs. The only thing worse than bad SAKs is having no SAKs at all... ;) So imma gonna say Victorinox with Spyderco being a very close second...

I'd go with either ESEE or KA-BAR/Becker for fixed blades, Spyderco for folders & Victorinox for SAKs & Multi-tools.

If forced to only choose one of those I'd have to make it Victorinox. My OHT could be used just fine for a folder and my other SAKs are fine as SAKs. My SwissTool X is a perfectly capable multi-tool. For fixed blades I suppose I'd have to get a sheath made up for a Victorinox kitchen knife. If there is one knife brand I couldn't be without it would definitely be Victorinox.
