Sorry guys but i am disappointed if you think a knife is not a weapon. The problem is that you got used to guns too much.

How would you react if you know someone is fighting you with a knife?

Guys, the knife is a weapon Psychologically and physically.

Its a claw we made and our ancestors fought with it because it is a weapon and it works and it kills, they made it out of bone first.

tooo many guns

Its not that people arent saying its a weapon, I have experienced it being used as a weapon first hand as many people on this forum probably have. Just in todays society the knife to me presents itself as a tool, I use it to cut boxes, zipties, food etc. So I view it as a tool first, a weapon second. Part of the reason I carry it is incase I need it for self defense, but thats always a reason apart from the first reason I carry, which is I always need a knife to cut things with. If you read most peoples post they think they are both, very few people think that knives are ONLY tools.

You are an ideot. Whew that felt good. The bigger the stick the bigger the whimp? You must carry a 40ft cattle prod.

Americans

hahahaha
Does it have to be a mushroom cloud?

The bigger the stick, the bigger the wimp.

Almost anything can be used as a weapon. What is the point of this anti-american sounding crap?
No such thing as too many guns.
Take your stupid trolling somewhere else.

At least you should think it gives you and advantage

:D

It is guys, treat it with respect :)
Of course its a tool but

You cant help being an American, bigger better:)

Only joking guys

I always take the piss in Americans and they do me.

:)

"A gun isnt a weapon Marge its a tool like a harpoon or an alligator you just need more education on the thing"(Homer Simpson). Just thought I'd share that but back to the post at hand. I agree with Rat Fink almost anything can be used as a weapon. I could jam a toothpick into your jugguler and let you bleed out but does that make it so I people cant carry toothpicks anymore? There was a kid in California who killed someone with a trophy. Almost anything can be used as a weapon if the situation warrants it. Most tools are inherantly dangerous, like axes, saws, power drills etc. This could go on, but yeah it sounds like your trolling man.

Only if you believe what you see on TV. Not everyone has CCW.

I defend myself with all available facilities.

I think this is Ch-wang's reply to the topic Is a Knife a Weapon.

What is with the stereotyping of americans? I dont understand what is your point? Do I make blanket statements about you or whatever country you are from? you arent making any sense.

Guys,

Sorry
its not serious against America
but our grand fathers sharpened bones to fight with.

We still make tools to survives, so respect the knife and don't think its just a tool.

I knife is a weapon that rips and tares.
It has a spirit of fighting

Is there a forum for forks or drills?

knife lovers are people who like weapons. Face it and respect it.

I think that a knife has a spirit of fighting. instinctive and primitive. So it is a survival tool. That's the spirit. So i take back its not a tool

But i don't like the idea I read allot hear to be honest that it is not enough

That's all i can say.

Yes, but I use them as tools, not in combat. Those on here who know me that I need to lose a few pounds before a knife can be used effectively by me for combat. If your original post wasn't meant as a political stance or trolling, you might want to edit it.

If my knife was a weapon, I could not carry it.

I don't know about YOUR grandfather, LOL, but mine loaded a Colt 1911A1 to fight with...

I don't use my knife as a weapon, I use it everyday as a tool. In the past they used big hammers as weapons, so are all my hammers in my tool room weapons as well? ANYTHING can be used as a weapon, but not every weapon can be used as a tool.

As a civilized person I don't buy a knife because I need a weapon to protect my village from a band of rapists, I buy a knife because I want a nice tool to open packages, etc.

I respect my knives like I respect my tools. Saws, drills, hammers, etc can all cause serious injury if they aren't respected and used properly.

If someone broke in my home and I needed to find something to use as a weapon, would I reach for my 4" blade pocket knife, or a 2" crow bar? I'd take the crow bar, which is a tool, but would make a better weapon than a small folder.

Mine killed with both

a gun and a knife. But when we say is a knife a weapon or a tool, is it ok to carry or not, we lost our spirit.

It is a weapon. It will give you an advantage no matter how small is

Its a claw
