hahahahaha...sorry. but that was funny.... a huge percentage of americans are fat ! but back to the subject at hand.. knives are both weapons and tools... just like a hammer... and a screwdriver.... and etc etc. but what ch-wang meant i think is that knives carry a sort personality that screwdrivers and hammers do not. they are percieved more commonly as weapons by non knife people... and maybe that's what people that carry kives want. they want to be seen as some one that has a weapon...and therefore must be respected.

A knife is a tool. It is something that allows you to do a certain job, whether it is for survival or not. If you choose to fight with one, then have fun with that.

i used to think that America was the leader of the civilised world, I don't think so any more.

I think its a third world country just like mine

Yeah so is beating the living daylights out of you opponent with your fists. A knifefight isn't something to respect. So while we are on the subject, what is your grand background in fighting and warefare? I mean, someone who makes your kind of statements must be the baddest guy on the block.

A knife fight makes no sense. Read the emergency medical personnel here: the loser of a knife fight arrives dead at the hospital; the winner dies in the emergency room.

If a man attacks me with a knife, I won't respect him. I would despise his cowardice and stupidity. And I'll probably smash him with my cane. :rolleyes:

The reality of concealed weapons carry in the US is that permit holders tend to get into less violent encounters than the average citizen. They show a greater sense of social responsibility.

I think you're the one who bombed. Drunks often make fools of themselves. But if you think a few glasses of wine excuses discourtesy, think again.

That is his topic -- the knife controversy is just a way to express his anti-Americanism. I don't like the way he posts insults and then edits them out.
