What is it about Spyderco knives that they are so special? (I am no expert)

I just find Spyderco's designs to be better thought out than other knives on the market. Spyderco has a knack for seeing the little things in their designs, that most manufacturers seem to overlook. When you get a Spydie, you get a ton of subtle nuances that add up a very complete design.
