I am looking for a Tactical Spike or ice Pick, any suggestions ?

I got a push pick. Good piece of gear. And I still have an original Guardfather.
What do I do with all of them! :D

How about an actual ice-pick?

Costs 3$ and is made of 1095

You can always get a chunk of thick walled stainless tubing and cut it on an angle. Drill a few small holes so that you can lace some paracord to make a handle for it. Viola! Instant aerator and fluid drainer.

Ick. I think I'll try to stay on your good side.

If your going with the stab your way to fitness program, how about one that slices a little?

A tactical ice pick sounds a lot like it would have a prison pocket sheath.

Just do like I used to do in High School. Buy a 'rat tail' comb, sharpen the handle tip in a pencil sharpener and Bob's your Uncle. :)

You can get the CS Spike and just wrap it with Camo Form or military duct tape - I used to carry the plastic Delta Dart like that.

It's ridiculous to pay a lot of money for some thing like this.

A little chisel or flat-head screwdriver with a few minutes of scraping on a side-walk and putting on the Camo Form/duct tape is great. If you use Camo Form you can cover as much as you want of the spike/pick/blade and when you use it - it will work the same.

OMG HAHAHAHAH oh man, that made my day.

You're standing on line for the concert and the detector wand starts going off...

Ohhh I totally forgot I had that with me, you see, I'm a plumber and this thing is the only tool for impacted toilets that really works.

That thing falls under the category of "there really is no good story to explain carrying it".

That Swamp Rat spike looks pretty cool! I've got a couple of the CS spike series knifes and although I only have medium sized hands [I take a size 9 glove] I find the handles a little thin. I wrapped the handles with 2mm leather 'thread' which I find helps quite a bit. My modification will not win any prizes for aesthetics, if only because the kydex sheaths on these knives does not permit the handles to be wrapped all the way to the blade end of the handles. Nevertheless I'm reasonably happy with what I did.

S.W.A.T. used to make a decent Guardfather. I still have one. I've heard whoever is making them now isn't up to the former quality.

no they arent the best quality but they get the job done.. depending on what job that might be? :) but my favorite thing about theese is that there is a washer that can be removed and they can be made so that the spike shoots out of the handle(if thats not allowed to be said on BF lemme know ill delete it)
