1) Welcome.

2) How's about using some punctuation? That courtesy would be nice to the people you are expecting to help you.

3) Post pictures.

Sorry about not using correct grammer, didn't know this was English class lol but, I can not get the pics to post on here tried fighting with it for a while and just gave up with that.

First, please read the sticky posted at the top of this forum...

NEW MEMBERS :: Please read this :: WHAT IS MY KNIFE WORTH?

Then, if looking for information other than value, you will need to post pictures.
To do so as a registered user, you must first upload them to a web hosting site such as photobucket. Once uploaded, copy the web address of the picture, paste it into your post, and wrap it in BBS code like this...

Ok well that doesn't really help but thank you anyways, I will try to find a appraiser to look at it since I would have to become a paying member to the site to do so. Just more or less trying to find out more on the company who made it too but, there is nothing on them when I Google "southern cutlery Japan"

I'd tell you how to post them, but I didn't know this was computer science class lol. Good luck.

Well I know how to just was trying to do it without having to jump through hoops to post a picture on here. Guess we can see who can't be helpful though since I tried to make a joke over the fact that I don't take the time to use correct grammar like I need to with a job or school.

You aren't starting off on a very good foot here. Proper grammar and punctuation is just common courtesy, especially when asking strangers for help. We don't get paid to sit here and train noobs how to help themselves, it's done out of courtesy. Show a little yourself of find another route to answer your questions.

I could be helpful on this topic. I just won't take the time. Seems fair.

Knock, knock - "Hi, you don't know me, and I don't know you, but I want you to give me some info, and if you don't I'll twist my snit..." Um, OK.

As I said I am sorry for not using proper grammar and when I made the crack about it being English class it was nothing more than a joke but that is fine then.

Yes I do know I am asking complete strangers for at least some kind of help and info for what I am looking for, but, not flipping out over anyone getting mad on here since I am not mad or ever upset, even though now everyone is getting upset over grammer and punctuation instead of being even the slightest bit actually helpful.

I am better with computers than I am people, people get too sensitive over the little things, I have a very dry sense of humor vs most people and that makes me flip their minds at me for it.

The point here is to be able to ask people if they know anything about what you are asking help for not criticize people for poor grammer and punctuation usage.

I am the type of person that looks at things like this and says "ok I can read what they wrote, do I know what they need help with or not?"

I do understand that sometimes things like with the way I wrote it it can be more difficult to understand fully, but, still you (as a whole) can read it and understand what I am trying to ask about, for at least the best way that I can describe it.

I DO thank the one guy who was helpful letting me know that I have to upload a picture on another website first, instead of being able to just upload it straight from my pc or my phone.

Now if I am still making everyone flip their kids with what I had to say this time then I am sorry to you, and obviously, i will not be wanted or welcome here since everyone wants to be so picky on grammar and punctuation instead of trying to be helpful.

P.s. I know you guys don't get paid to help, but it is nice when people actually help one another without acting like this.

I had said twice in this forum that I apologized for me sounded like a rude jerk, first off no not wasting like you are saying acting like you are superior over grammer vs ignoring people's short comings.

And that last post I put up I even tried to use some and I can look at it and know it is wrong grammar.

Look not trying to make people mad on here just was looking for some kind of info but, alas none is given.

Tis ok, like I said I'm not mad, or even upset at how I am getting bashed for making a crack, or getting bashed for improper use of grammar.

So again I am sorry that I have apparently pissed people off I guess I will just look elsewhere like everyone on here would like for me to do.

Good day, and good bye you guys have fun and at least a better day now that you know I will not be on here to upset you

I'm fairly new to this forum myself so please take my advice as wanting to genuinely help you.

You say, " I am better with computers than I am people, people get too sensitive over the little things, I have a very dry sense of humor vs most people and that makes me flip their minds at me for it."

From my pov, it appears you got too sensitive and flipped your mind over the first response. I see nothing wrong with Marcinek's response to you. It was to the point and gave you pointers to help yourself. He didn't jump down your throat or berate you. You could have taken his advice and edited or rewrite your post with better punctuation to help people understand it better. Punctuation is what helps people understand what you are trying to get them to understand. If you're really good with computers then you know how you can't make a computer do what you want it to do without the proper grammar, it's the same with people. Instead, you tried to make a joke about it as if that would take care of lack of punctuation marks in your post.

The point here is to not get huffy with strangers for not being able to help you because they can't understand you and when they give you pointers to use proper punctuation so that they can understand what you're saying so that they can then help you you don't turn that around and think they're not being helpful because seriously how do you expect people to help you when you're not doing as much as you can to help them understand you by using proper grammar as it does several things like first they don't understand you and then it says you don't care enough to make yourself understandable just that you need help and people should help you nevermind that run on sentences are difficult to understand they should just work that much harder to understand what you're asking and then to help you and if you're thinking of bringing up the irony of this particular sentence I suggest you think again as I am simply making a point.

I would suggest you take a deep breath and start over again. It wouldn't hurt to apologize to people whose feathers you may have ruffled. Doing so isn't going to make you less of a person. Good luck.

You are getting bashed for coming in here and expecting us to help you while you couldn't be bothered to spend the couple seconds to compose a readable and coherent question.

I'm done. Good luck.

I didn't take it at FIRST but yes I do get my feathers ruffled kind of easily over stuff like that.
And I did say I was sorry yes I tried to make a joke about it failed but tried.
But this is something that I get berated for ALL the time online for sorry I failed English class. And I don't HAVE to use grammar on pcs to make them work just math.

You'll have to forgive marcinek, he is known to be rambunctious

It sounds like you're describing an old timer Trapper style, I could be wrong about the blade shapes though, but, that's what it sounds like.
please feel free to correct me on the blade shapes.

Southern Cutlery Co was one of countless US knife companies that imported knives from Japan decades ago,
probably 70s/80s and no longer exist. The "13" is the model number. Take a photo of your knife, open a photobucket
account and upload it there, use the 4th icon on top from the right to insert the URL to the image.

I guess when you said you're good at computers, you weren't talking about doing any sort of computer program or code, because you certainly would understand you need perfect grammar when dealing with computers - one misplaced keystroke and your program goes belly up. Yes, you do have to use "grammar" when you're using a PC; try right-clicking on an icon when you want to select it or even left clicking just a few pixels away on an icon when you want to select it. Unless you're communicating with a PC the proper way, it's not going to understand you either.

And just because you failed English class doesn't mean you have to continue to fail at it. Stop using that as an excuse and start learning English better.

Again, just trying to help you.
