I am looking for info on a knife

I do forgive marcink I did get my feathers ruffled since that was the first thing he had said about anyone trying to help out.

I have said sorry several times about the whole thing too.

I do try and use correct grammar when I have time to think about how to write it right.

I also don't use failing as an excuse it is true and still try just suck at it so I don't bother half of the time. And I do know how to use coding to a point and every coding I have used I never needed grammar the same way you have to use it to talk to people.

Mainly binary codes still trying to learn ascii and wanting to learn c++, but because of work never really have the time I do fabricating for farm equipment. So no need for English just math also.

But like I said I do have a bad thing about what I say to people it gets taken the wrong way or sounds worse than what it is sounds different is person vs text.

And thank you to the people trying to help (including marcink and Rey HeH) I do thank you two even though we got off to a bad start.

I didn't take it at FIRST but yes I do get my feathers ruffled kind of easily over stuff like that.
And I did say I was sorry yes I tried to make a joke about it failed but tried.
But this is something that I get berated for ALL the time online for sorry I failed English class. And I don't HAVE to use grammar on pcs to make them work just math.

3 hours from first post to this one.
All this time you could have snapped a few photos, uploaded them to photobucket, posted them here and had the answer to your questions instead of arguing your point further and further. You have to realize this forum gets questions like this every day and the early posts in this thread about using punctuation and posting pictures of your knife were intended to speed up this process instead of watch you argue for multiple pages before you finally decide that you'll be best served by typing coherent questions, responses and posting pictures of the knife in question.

As a new member to any forum it is always encouraged for you to read the forum rules/etiquette/how to's etc. Use the search function. Had you read any of that you would have known that you aren't supposed to inquire about knife values without proper membership level. Additionally, many, many knives look similar and it is very hard to identify some random knife with out any pictures, especially when trying to extract pertinent information from a poorly written paragraph with no punctuation. First time posts like that tell us that you don't care enough to spend the time to read the forum info, use proper forum etiquette, especially when you are argumentative to our responses. Help us help you. Stick around for a while and do a lot of reading, there is a lot to learn about this hobby. Best of luck.

well most of all the time that i have been posting i havent been back at my house. i started this then had to run errands but i had said in one of the posts earlier that i hated the fact that i have to go here and here to upload a pic or two but that is ok.

i am about to up load one in just a second.

the whole value of the knife is not REALLY my main concern it is to a point because i have a guy who wants to buy it from me but since it was my late great grandfather i am wanting to know more about it rather than the value but that is something that i am interested in to.

and yes i do agree i should have read more of the rules but i figured this was like most other forums not needing prior membership levels to ask about certain things.

but i have went through and made an account on photobucket and about to upload the pics.

I have a Masters in Mathematics, so I don't see how that excuses one. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

Enjoy your stay at BF.

I do agree with you on that and like i have said several times that i am sorry if i have offended you.
i say things that come across people the wrong way like earlier.

and to leftytwoguns i have spent most of the time saying that i was sorry about pissing people off lol
so far i have tried to enjoy my time here and so far i haven't hated it and am trying to fix things.
i at least try to fix things may take me a few but i do.

Maybe someone in the traditional forum might have a handle on "Southern Cutlery Co."
The knife itself looks to me like a typical case peanut knockoff.

It seems to me that you want to know it's value, if your friend wish to buy it from you, yes?

.

And again making a joke, a bad joke IMO.

I'm a newbie myself too, but I can, already, tell you these guys are awesome people,
and they can help others a lot.

So please, try to be polite, and pay attention of your language and grammar when you post here.
I'm a non native english speaker, but I do my best what comes to grammar and civility when posting here.
(I hope that I manage to do it at least moderately).

You should do that too!
And you'll find people are more inclined to help you.
