i am obsessed with carbon fiber spydercos. I EDC a SAGE carbon fiber. Anyone else EDC a carbon fiber Spyderco? Recommendations?

Curious to what other CF Spyderco fans EDC
 
Have a number of CF handled Spydercos. The ones I sometimes carry include a CF Kiwi, a peel-ply CF Stretch, and a CF Chaparral. All are excellent, only the Chaparral is currently available.
 
CF Spydies in my EDC rotation include a Caly 3, Caly 3.5, Cat and Gayle Bradley. The CF on the Caly's look great but I really like the feel of the Gayle Bradley CF texture.
 
I am currently carrying the Caly 3 Damascus with CF scales and bolsters. The CF is smooth on this one. It depends on your preference with regard to CF because of the multitude of textures and weave patterns.
 
I have the Gayle Bradley, Stretch and Sage 1 in CF. It might be my favorite handle material, lightweight and it looks very nice. I'd like to see that gold laced CF that is on the Szabo on more knives.
 
I like the carbon fiber used on the Sage and the Gayle Bradley. I'm not obsessed though.
 
I currently have two CF Spyderco's with one on the way.
I EDC my Chaparral and sometimes carry my Spyderco GB Air.

I have the Caly 3 CF/Damascus on the way.

I still really want to pick up the Gayle Bradley, Caly 3 CF/ZDP, and Caly 3.5 CF/ZDP.
 
I've got the CF Caly 3 and Chaparral. I had and sold the Sage 1 and GB. I somewhat regret getting rid of the GB.

Good luck on that one, I have seen a few for sale. I don't get caught up on the whole "grail" thing, but the CF Stretch is the one discontinued knife I really want to obtain at some time. The CF S90V PM2 would be nice too, but the Stretch is more desirable to me.

I can empathize. I've been carrying a Spyderco C22 Michael Walker ZDP-189 lately, as the size is perfect for my needs. The Chaparral is also quite nice. Others in the collection are the CF Stretch, Paramilitary 2 CF with S90V, and an original Klötzli Michael Walker.

+1 Something about the CF Kopa really appeals to me. I have a Chaparral that I regularly EDC, and a Caly 3 Damascus on the way, but I would love to add the CF Kopa to the collection.
 
Not sure I understand the whole CF obsession, I guess I just have to acquire a CF handle to understand fully. I'll have to pick up a CF Sage or a Gayle Bradley sometime then.

I have a number of CF Spydercos - Kiwi, Kopa, Caly3, Michael Walker and Chaparral.
The Chaparral spends more time in my pocket, followed by the Walker.
 
If you can find a Native 4CF, then absolutely get one. I sold mine only because I happened upon a Native 5 with custom CF scales and I needed to fund something else (and I'm very picky about which knives I'll actually own more than one of).

I will say this though, once you get your hands on a CF Para-2, you never go back to anything else. I have to make myself break out the Native-CF or the Sage 1 - otherwise, I'd never carry anything else but the PM2 in CF.

I do long for a small Sebenza in CF, but I doubt honestly I'd carry it as much as I do this PM-2.
 
I regularly carry my CF Caly3, and I just ordered the Gayle Bradley. I haven't carried my CF Sage in quite a while, although I really prefer the CF on the Sage to the CF on the Caly3; it has quite a bit more texture to it, and feels much "grippier".
